I think it's safe to assume that Superman, Batman, WW, a Flash and a GL are going to be in it.
Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates.
Starting January 9th, site maintenance is ongoing until further notice, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Taking a poll. Ya'll want a little JUSTICE LEAGUE tidbit? RT to gauge interest.
Ok here we go. Follow along boys & girls. For starters I don't do debunk pieces & I don't want to feed them trolls at cosmicbook cornballs.
The final 7 members of the JUSTICE LEAGUE members are not locked down yet. They're tinkering with possibilities during rewrites (cont) RT
Let's say for sake of conversation AQUAMAN was in the first draft. In the rewrite WB CE mentions, "Gee, hey let's try HAWKMAN instead."
Then the CE mentions, "Hal Jordan didn't work out for us a couple of summers ago, can we perhaps try John Stewart instead?"
So then they get 7 & go out to directors, then director has his notes & maybe a member or two he wants to see in the next rewrite.
Ladies and gentlemen, the beauty of the Hollywood Development process.
What's true today might not be in next draft tomorrow, hence why that story yesterday was BS. Had they locked down the 7 I would been on it.
So the Justice League got a musical member chair thing going on.
Dudes, I'm not saying that John Stewart is your Green Lantern, was merely making a comedic Creative Exec comment.
But considering the success of Django, I'm sure some CE read the THR article & will bring up John Stewart in the next notes meeting.
If DC is going to be successful in the superhero movie game then they have to be self contained somehow like Marvel.
The ideas being suggested are cringeworthy.
There is a director who read it over the holiday.
Knowledgeable Creative Exec who swears he knows his comics: "That Martian Manhunter guy, he comes from Asgard, correct?"
So, Creative Execs are giving inputs now, it's Green Lantern all over again, too much interference from the studios.
I love that but i feel that the whole situation with Bruce coming back will spoil the magnificent ending that we got in TDKR, that moment in the cafe was the best ending to a set of characters that you can possibly ask for, Bruce has retired, everyone is happy, he "made it". bringing him back will spoil it and it will dissapoint Alfred, remember, he left because Bruce was too little too late for Bane, a human, now the villain is Darkseid. If Bale were to return, a story could be fairly easy to create:
Blake begins his career as Robin/Nightwing/Batman whatever. Speaks to Gordon about other vigilantes rising in other cities and needing "his" help. Leaving it ambiguous as to who.
We see a man walking through a fairly low key city. The camera revolves to reveal Clark Kent, who says "I'm a big fan of your work, Mr.... Malone? Is it?"
"Please call me Bruce"
Bruce can then be shown to have in his home a memento style wall with him revealed to have been following the recent uprising of heroes, and believes he has deciphered their identities. But is reluctant to return to active duty until Blakeman is injured.
The ideas being suggested are cringeworthy.
They would need to address Selina too if they bring back Nolan's Bruce Wayne. Not that it's hard to do anyway. Regardless, if the rumors that WB is pursuing JGL is true then that to me means that Bale returning is already not an option since I would think that they would most likely ask him first.
This concerns me.
It would be for the best. Until they actually have a strong spearhead (Kevin Feige type) that can get everything in order and under a concise path that would benefit the DC movie world and not have it crumble under a flimsy attempt at making a quick buck then it would be best for this project to go back under deep slumber.I'm still banking on this getting delayed or not being made at all, again.

That would likely be sarcasm. Literally no one would think that seriously. "That Captain America guy, he's from Spain right?"
