To be honest I'd love if they went back and made a director's cut version of MOS (assuming they still have the footage in their archives) that would include more of his wandering time and small character moments in general as there was stuff that got left like that scene with Martha and Jonathon next to Baby Kal in his crib.

People forget that Gal is having a baby in a couple of months and she will probably want to take some months off to raise it at home in Israel

But yeah JL is a mess :o

^ That makes the most sense.

She's probably trying to get as much done as she can before she takes time off for her family life.

I know that social media has given us a glimpse behind the curtain of filmmaking and all, but some folks really think they know the ins and outs of these productions.

Weird that Gal is doing ADR during post and Cavill is on the same shooting schedule for JL as Gal was for BvS? Good gawd people. Relax.

Deadline about the Super Bowl:

"Warner Bros. is not in — but its promotional partners might be (as was the case last year with Turkish Airlines on Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice)"

No surprise there. Guess that means no Skull Island TV spot either.

It's not surprising at all given the rates charged for a Super Bowl spot. Warner Bros don't need that and these days you can just release it on the Internet anyway and people will still see it.

I believe the last time WB promoted a movie at the SB with their own money was in 2005 for Batman Begins

In all serious though, regarding extended cuts

I'm fine with extra stuff that would seem overstuffed in a movie being released later

But the Africa stuff, and reporter Clark stuff really helps out the BVS story

WB/DC come on --do a "Come Visit Armagetto*" promo. :woot:

[* capital city of planet Apokolips]

Uhh by the way....does that pic give us a film running time speculation? The top left says 2:09:40

Two days, nine hours, and forty minutes. This is going to be a very long movie.

Logical sense.... I had thought it might be due to her accent, that Snyder wanted her to re-say the lines a bit clearer... but your suggestion makes the most sense...

Casey lied to us!

WHY?!!!

Time to give him a beating.

LAwd.

If you can't trust a random guy on the internet board with a pretty iffy username, who can you trust then? What has become of this world?

As I said earlier:

This is BvS all over again. A guy claimed (on twitter) that he worked at a movie theatre and that the trailer would drop on February (?) 2015. Once this was proven to be false, he deleted his twitter account and vanished from the social media sphere.
But people never learn....

Ugh. Those Turkish Airline commercials ended up being so depressing because they honestly looked better than the movie.

Sweet hyperbole Batman!

I'm serious, at least the Superman one. It actually made Metropolis look real and vibrant. In the movie, it was just as gloomy as Gotham, which I suppose is the downside to having the two cities right next to each other.

Wow - I can officially admit I was totally wrong and overconfident about the Super Bowl potential.

But alas, now we all have no clue. Backtothethirst.jpeg

Inclement weather equals unreal city.

The trick is to not have hope

Your either vindicated or pleasantly surprised

I like BvS UC, but now that you're talking about the Turkish Airlines adds, I would've loved for Jesse to have played Luthor the way he does in the Metropolis add; kinda weird how down to earth and determined he looks and sounds while speakin to the masses outdoor, and in the movie he can't even speak to a few people in his own house / gala event.
