There was a pic of Gordon a few months ago that confirmed that the mayor was killed, something we hav suspected since filming.

Also, the clapping has nothing to do with the bomb in the goon's stomach. I didn't even realize people thought that.

Great interview also. I can't wait to see Ledger's performance.

is it weird that out of all the joker scenes we've seen so far the one that scares me is when his licking his lips in the scene where he faces batman in the batpod? the one in the new imax featurette

You mean its not to activate an exploding bomb in a goon's stomach?

i was always against that idea that that is whats realy going to happen. i always thought it was because he was mocking someone. other than that this is how i think the scene is going down:

the joker says evening commissioner to gordan as he walks in.

the mayor than comes in to announce that gordan is the new commissioner and that the joker is the one that killed loeb.

the joker mockingly claps about that.

I disagree with you. Joker kills the Mayor after he has already escaped prison, and (I think) kills Loeb while he is escaping.

I think the Joker says Evening Commissioner to Loeb, before he kills him. But I could be wrong.

Also, about the bomb thing. Its detonation has something to do with a phone call.

That was a really cool interview, and cool bit of info about the clapping. I'm so excited now, people who've seen it are already saying Oscar worthy! t:

I read that interview before at Batman-on-Film. Wow! I didn't know Heath came up with the clapping himself. I assume it was written in the script. Heath really seem to come up with a great idea himself with the clapping thing. I really can't wait to see the reason Joker is doing that.
