The Dark Knight Rises Nolan...add Robin!!!!!! - Part 1

Regardless if its for self defense/intentional/accidental and someone dies by your hands than you still are a killer by definition in that case. Not a murderer but most definitely a killer as of that point you've killed someone.

Its not that hard of a concept to understand.

Thats exactly what I was proving in my post...

So I'm not sure who thats aimed towards.

How about Batman dies saving Robin's parents at the end of the movie?

Well in these cases for example.

You kill someone in cold blood and for no reason, you will be labled the PC way, murderer and killer. Thats by everyone,in the right way of thinking society.

But say you accidentally kill someone in a car accident, you wouldnt be labeled either in a PC way. But the family of the victim would understandably in anger, call you those names. Even though its not the true definition.

Interesting posts, however back on topic. Not sure if this has been touched upon, but how old would we want Robin to be if he were to be included in any future bat-films? IMO, he should be between 15-18, and look like an actual 15-18 year old (not a 30 year old playing an 18 year old...lol)

So raping someone doesn't class you a rapist?
For one there are lots of different types of rapes. If you force yourself onto someone then you are a rapist. You're talking about two completely different things. You can't be forced to rape someone or rape someone by accident and there's definitely no situation where you would rape someone because they don't deserve to go unraped. It's not even close to being the same.

I hope this isn't aimed at me because I clearly said that I don't care about the definition of a killer. Definitions don't mean anything to me, if we go by defintion alot of people are killers, mentally ******ed, and abusive. By definition anyone who doesn't learn as fast as most people their age is ******ed and by defintion intentionally or untentially insulting or hurting someones feelings is abuse, or using an eraser to write your name is also a form of abuse.

One thing I would not ever want to see is Robin being included so that he can be "Decoy, The Kid Hostage!". If that's all that the writer can come up with, then no thank you to Robin.

I killed a fly a few hours ago....I'm an inhuman monster. A psychopath...I cant go on...:hehe:

No one has anything to say about Robin's ideal role in a Batman story? While I prefer Batman alone most of the time, I think that Robin is best when he acts as the Watson to Batman's Sherlock Holmes, which tends to favor him older.

And if you actually....eat.....you're supporting those who kill plants and animals. You DEMON!!

I've just pulled myself from the brink and come to terms.

Now you tell me I'm supporting the plant and animal killers? :csad:. Well if I don't end my evil life,Poison Ivy will do it for me. :lmao:

That's good for when he's first starting, but I'd like to see him work as a replacement or substitute eventually. Like in the second mini series of Robin where Bruce left Tim in Gotham alone and he had to stop the Joker by himself. That was really good.

I could definitely imagine a Dick Grayson in Nolan's Batman universe. It wouldn't be difficult to integrate the character into the story and even develop him into a worthy assistant (codenamed Robin). The character of Robin is as campy as the story that is written, just like Batman.
While I'm not a fan of the Schumacher films, I have to say it was exciting to see Robin on the big screen that first time (despite the nipples).

I rest my case. It's nice to see that the video game industry doesn't abandon great characters because some ******* made a stupid version of him/her several years ago. That's Tim Drake but could work for Grayson as well. Late-teens or early 20's which is perfectly realistic and not too young

Still looks like Chris O'Donnell. No thanks.

Give him hair for **** sake!

Receding hairline and short buzzcut hair are teh gritty dough.

Though it's not my ideal costume stylistically, I think that image really puts to rest any argument that Robin wouldn't work visually in a Nolan film.

As a mature, more practical update of the classic Robin look, I'm quickly starting to love it.

That doesn't look at all like a receding hairline. Pull your hair back, that's probably what your hairline looks like.

I know, I'm just being dramatic. Let me indulge in hyperbole, you! :p

Yeah, Nolan doesn't make everyone out to be stupid in his movies like Schumacher did.

Robin's mask is probably the worst part. It doesn't hide anything at all and totally pointless.
