As do I ross

Regarding the strange signs, Pittsburgh is a fairly conservative city, and its Easter weekend, so I wouldn't buy into signs that say "Remember me" being related to Batman in any way.

I haven't seen any strange signs around the city. I live between Downtown & Oakland and frequent the South Side while I work in Shadyside. Haven't seen anything out of the ordinary but I'll keep my eyes open. I agree with whomever said it's still early and it doesn't make any sense for them to be putting signs up.

There was a "Remember Me" sign hung on a church. I think it's pretty obvious to what the signs are referring.

Yes, it's obviously Bane...

cool sky-view photo of pittsburgh, all it needs is a bat signal

Link? I heard 4-6, then only 3.

Keep in mind that the info on that audition site isn't accurate. How do I know? I once sent out an email asking Superhero Hype about it and gave me that answer. The only think accurate would be the casting extras bit.

Ah, yeah I remember those two sources Crissa. I was just curious where BatFan88 heard 6 weeks, and the audition site Octoberist stated.

Edit: nevermind, found them.

I've always had the impression that Pitts will be used exterior shots involving a potential car chase, with Pitts being cheaper and easier to manage than NYC. I think there will be also some exterior shots or use specific buildings but the core of this version of Gotham is probably gonna be mostly NYC with a dash of Pitts.

Agreed, but they could also be using Pittsburgh for some waterfront scenes, especially if you remember some of the dreary waterfront stuff from the Bruce Willis film, Striking Distance, which was all shot in Pittsburgh.

Clearly you've never driven in Pittsburgh. :oldrazz:

This summer, Batman will have to contend against potholes, one-way streets and never-ending detours and road work.

Spoken by a true Pittsburgh native!

If I had a penny for every pothole in Pittsburgh, I'd be financing this film.

It's mid May we have to be getting close to them starting here dont we?

Is there anything on NYC? I know this is the Burgh page but, All I've heard about NYC is that it's happening, never read anything about it.

I've heard July/Late June for Pittsburgh. I have no idea about NY though.

thank you. a smart post.

i am shocked that some think that Pitts will be used for gotham in epic wide shots of their buildings.

like its f... hard to take a helicopter and fly around in NY and Chicago?

I'll be in Pitt for a week this summer with resources. I'll do my best if the times match up.
