Has anyone else who went to the open call and signed up for Nancy Mosser casting? If so, did any of you guys get an e-mail from them today or recently?

I signed up a while ago prior to the casting call but updated it after the casting call.
I got an e-mail yesterday that said I got a "submission".
"A submission may be a full view of your portfolio or an addition to a picklist (a saved list of talent that is created by us or our clients in consideration for work or activities through our company"

I actually like the sound of this if the boys are not related to a Bane flashback.

Whenever the school bus was spotted outside Wollaton the idea popped into my head. Some sort of fundraiser/charity event at Wayne Manor for underprivileged boys.

Lucky boys... Can you imagine being that age and being in a Batman movie and you get to interact with 'Batman'. They'll be the coolest kids in school. :awesome:

Damn kids! :cmad:

Just got that same one earlier this morning.

Ya, that's what I keep thinking as well. But Thomas was very much about making everyone feel equal in the city. Maybe he wanted Bruce to take a school bus so that he didn't feel like he was better than anyone else. Remember, they did take the train to the opera, they weren't chauffeured by Alfred. I think I'm looking to much into the school bus...

That's actually a good point. Speaking of which, I wonder if they can still use the kid that played young Bruce? He probably looks like a teen now. :p

*Imagine's SHH-ers dressing up as 8-14 year olds themselves and auditioning*

I wouldn't be surprised if it happened :awesome:

I looked him up. He's 18, definitely to old. :p

Damn! Didn't get such an email despite going to the casting call. The only one I got from them (last week?) was about fully activating my profile. But they sent those before.

Congratulations anyway Yurka!

Thanks! But I'm not getting my hopes up, if I get a call telling me when and where to go to work on "Magnus Rex" then I'll get excited.

Here's a question, and this could be for anyone who is lucky enough to get chosen as an extra. If they make you sign a confidentiality agreement, are you still going to tell us everything you see, or will you keep it secret? I'm not saying they are going to force anyone to sign one, just a what if question.

Yea same here. I was one of the first 60 people in the door on the first call, I guess that doesnt so much matter! haha.

Explosions at a football game at Heinz field. I like where this is headed

Nice Find Dragon!!

I did too, but football seems more applicable to Bane in my opinion.

I like that the idea of sport/competition seems to be involved with Bane as well.

Pfft, Hockey is more brutal than Football could ever be. Id say its fits Bane more haha. A dissapointment that its going to be football, whatever, heres hoping for an extra as apart of the crowd! That stadium is huge.

I actually agree, but on film/the general audience would consider football more physical and violent.

I hope so too, I'm really curious what the setup will be for this situation.

I'm a hockey player and prefer hockey obviously, but I guess football is more mainstream. Doesn't bother me though unless they 86-ed a scene where I could have been a hockey player extra. : )

Heh, I played both for years. You can bet your ass I applied for this  :awesome:

Not sure if the details are correct but some apparent info about a shoot happening in Aug 6:

@olv: Be in a scene for 'The Dark Knight Rises' in Pittsburgh on August 6th! - http://bit.ly/l5fSUu

Gotham Rogues?

Yep - looks like they're casting for football players AND spectators. The spectators casting call says it will be outside, so that makes you think it'll be at Heinz Field, however, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an indoor shoot - at the former Mellon Arena, which I hear they still plan to implode, but that's all rumor.

You could not be further from the truth. Every play in football is a minor car crash. Nothing comes close except for MMA/Boxing.

I love Hockey, it's my second favorite sport. I've played both and the physicality doesn't compare. Hockey is an extremely brutal sport but there is a reason you can have 45 year olds still playing the game in the NHL and most people don't make it to 30 in the NFL.

lol, ok...

Chelios playing strong at 43 isn't because hockey is softer than football, compared to Favre barely making it by at 41.

It's because hockey has all around athletes. strong, fast, good hands, good eyes, skating ability, zone play, etc.

football is a one or two task per each position. a football lineman merely has to be "big and tough" but for only 7 seconds.

while a hockey d-man has to be big, tough, fast, have puck handeling skills, time awareness, attitude check, goalie awareness, a hard slapshot, and other stuff for a minute to a minute and a half every other shift...

HOCKEY (Batman) > any other sport (character) in the world.

This is crap. Nearly every play in football features ferocious contact. Hockey has hits, but it's not constant. Are you telling me that you'll put the most athletic, toughest defenseman in hockey up against a top NFL linebacker and that the hockey player will win? I don't think so. Hockey is a very tough sport, but it's a different animal than football.
