We're filming rain or shine.

They're requesting that everyone bring an umbrella (small one best) so if it's really hot and sunny you can keep from getting to sunburned.

And if it's stormy, like it often is in Gotham City, we can keep dry. And if it turns really heavy rain we'll move under the stadium overhangs till it clears up for the next shot.

Also heard that there's going to be some MAJOR special effect explosions on set.

The scene takes place late Fall/Early Winter, so dress appropriately in layers so you can take any jackets or coats off between scenes.

Yup, my is saying that they have to get these shots right relatively quick.

the amount of time it's going to take to shoot the three events: Arena, Prison Break and the Showdown is pretty large for the amount of time they have in Pittsburgh

They're not concerned about running behind time but, they're not taking any chances either.

Those splosions are going to be awesome!

beginning Friday when crews start filming inside and outside a Lawrenceville building.

Other shooting scenes throughout August include Trinity Cathedral, Steel Plaza, the Wabash Tunnel and a truck chase on Cherry Way, Smithfield Street and Exchange Way. The plan for Wednesday, Aug. 10, includes "full snow effects" with fake snowfall and limited access Downtown on that day in particular.


Shooting is scheduled to end Sunday, Aug. 21, with filming at the Frank Bryan Cement Plant in McKees Rocks.
