The voice over that accompanied the push-up scene was the "What if he doesn't exist anymore" line which was referring to Batman so it makes more sense for it to be Bruce.

I don't think the public would know Batman was bruce to the extent that he'd be in jail. That would really put a dent in the mythos of Batman

I've watched the video, and while I understand that Nolan wants a different look to Gotham -- is it purely artistic or is it conditions out of his hands? (Like location availability, film incentives, et al?) I mean, MOS is shooting in Chicago too but in different areas. Did WB not want to base two films in Chicago or what? Were they afraid of productions overlapping or was this a production decision?

It's not very clear. Nolan seems to be leaning towards the former answer (artistic reasons).

Nolan once said each sequel has to be diffrent from the previous film.
That's excactly what he is going to do now with TDKR again.

TDK was really diffrent then BB.

The real life Christian Bale is an enigma. Sometimes he's a lunatic throwing temper tantrums at cinematographers and other times he's The Dude from "The Big Lebowski".
