It's not very encouraging to your self confidence when you can't even get simple conversations going online.
Well how simple is simple? I mean are you just saying "Hi" or "Hey"?It's not very encouraging to your self confidence when you can't even get simple conversations going online.
I think a simple devil costueme will be much better. I mean, if they can't learn to accept him like that, then that's their problem.I used to like showing up for first dates in clown makeup and carrying handcuffs![]()

Hmm, I mean I kinda have the same issue at times with friends of mine, both male and female. so I wouldn't take it too personally. But if it happens consistently with the same person, I just wouldn't bother with them anymore because they've just proven that they're not worth your time if they won't take time to reply.Simple as in commenting on common interests and asking a question. While leaving a short response of my own. Like you would in any conversation.![]()
How did that work out?I used to like showing up for first dates in clown makeup and carrying handcuffs![]()
Good luck Blackheart! Wish ya the best.
So I have a small predicament, there is this girl that I reallllly like, but before we can hang out, I have to meet her parents(They are super Christian, which I think makes her mad.)
Any advice?
It's not a date. It probably will be the second or third time we hang out. We have really hit it off.
To be fair, my fiance used to say we were "hanging out" when he was staying over weekends and we were bumping uglies. The way you're phrasing it as hanging out would give me much more pause than meeting the parents. Also how old are you? High School? College? Post College? The older you are the weirder it seems, in high school I could totally understand, in college and after, it might be a little bit of a concern that her parents still have that much control over her life. I think the biggest thing though is to make it a date, not hanging out, date implies relationship, hanging out implies let's be friends.

That's true. If you're on a dating site, it's pretty much assumed that you're there for um, dating.Yeah, but at that point you were in an established relationship. Plus you met on a dating site, just think it can lead to confusion if wishy washy language is used at the begining.
High school. I can totally see how you would interpret this as weird if I was 30 lol.The way you're phrasing it as hanging out would give me much more pause than meeting the parents. It works, although I don't know if I'd ask for an interview. Just show up and say "Hey, wanna ****!" Leaves no room for interpretation. How about, "I'd like to set up an interview for intercourse. How's Friday?"
How long has it been? And what day/time did you suggest to meet up?So I was sending messages back and forth with this one girl, we even IM'd a little. Things were going good, so I asked her out. She initially agreed, but when I sent a follow up message with the details of the date (time/day/place) she never responded. Thoughts?
