I'd actually say that Resse and Finch are like Batman split into two persons :)

Reece = Batman
Finch = Alfred/Lucius Fox/Oracle
Fusco = Harvey Bullock
Root = Red Hood/ Harley Quinn
Greer = Ra's Ra's al Ghul (Decima = League of Shadows)
Elias = Carmine Falcone
Shaw = Batgirl
Joss Carter = Jim Gordon

inspired choices there... nice...

Hey guys, I stopped watching the show around episode 4 of this current season because I felt it was getting a little repetitive, so how is the show going? Should I start watching again, how good is the season so far?

^ It's gotten even better! Go watch it NOW! :D

What kvz5 said. While I don't agree on it feeling too repetitive, the episode right after where you dropped it was when things hit the fan.

Pick a day to just chill back and catch up. Totally worth it.

Well, you guys were right. The stakes are higher than ever, is pretty exciting stuff. I'm about to start episode 14.
But enough with the gun fight scenes. So repetitive and monotonous.

Oh by the way, I admire how, by avoiding "number of the week filler vs. overall arc", they've managed to create some clever storylines to advance the plot. There are a lot of variables to be considered and they're doing a good job at addressing them as accurate as possible.

Harold Martin is his real name? Or maybe another alias.

I loved the flashback stuff, however I would have preferred an A-plot that was a little less filler. I did like how it tied into their places emotionally though.

Seems a lot of the post-Shaw episodes have dealt with the team's emotional states and their questioning of the Machine's tactics/motives. Now that they've dealt enough with the emotional states of the remaining team, I'd expect the last 5 episodes of the season to be all about Samaritan and the Machine.

Based on the press release for the next episode, it looks like they're bringing back Beth Bridges, the woman that Finch met in Hong Kong and planted something on her laptop, and Harper, the con artist from the Blunt episode. Those 2 guest stars show the next episode will indeed be about the ongoing AI battle and also the Brotherhood/Elias battle.

Man, I had no idea the show was back last night. For some reason I thought it was back in April.

Don't feel too bad. It was just a filler episode. Still better than some shows though. :p

Dude, totally on the same page ! Finch is the scientist, the intellect with the tech skills, whereas Reese is the rage, guilt and the lethal physical skills. Put them together and you've got the dark knight.

I always thought the library was a metaphor for the batcave, now the subway station is one step closer.

Jonah Nolan had just come off Dark Knight Rises when he started POI so its not hard to see that the influence is there, if not a deliberate take on aspects of the batman myth.

So in short, i totally agree ( Root certainly has a catwoman vibe, bad girl gone good).

Glad someone else was thinking along the same lines. Cheers.

I liked the ep, the number was interesting as I kept changing my mind on whether I thought he was going to be the victim or perpetrator, and I guess in some ways he was both. I also started to question whether maybe he had killed his wife when his account of the night of her murder turned out to be total BS.

Given the way the show ended I wonder if it will be followed up on down the line.

Good episode. The flashback stuff was great. The case was good too.

I was thinking the same. Or maybe by cutting off they're just making a point about what Finch said about some questions being left unanswered. Anyway, next episode looks good. They're finally following up on Finch's trip to Shanghai.

First look at Katheryn Winnick on POI's next episode, "Skip," that will air on March 24th.

Ooo I didn't realize she was going to be on the show. :)

Katheryn Winnick is on PoI? Geez, I now have to binge watch S04...
