I like SLJ but after Pulp Fiction I find that he plays all his characters the same way or almost. I don't see the character anymore, I see SLJ.

Clive Owen is cool, but I'm still let down because although not a major House fan - Hugh Laurie is awesome and this could have been a break out film role for him to do bigger projects.

Clive Owen would be a small comfort after losing Laurie, but a comfort nonetheless.

Laurie was also supposed to be in Superman Returns as Perry White but he dropped out of that one too.

On the script review thing, I've been reading how Mcweeny's involvments have played a huge part in things like Superman Returns and changes to Terminator Salvation.

I just want to ask, has any of Mcweeny's interferences ever resulted in a better product?

Caught the news a few days ago that laurie decided to not do the film. That is a bit disapointing. But the chance of clive owen as his replacement isn't to bad. I still hope this turns out good. And still can't wait to see how robo designs are once filming starts up shortly.

Just look at the two examples you cited. Superman: Flyby and the original ending of Terminator: Salvation would've been much, much worse than the mediocre products we got.
