Favorite Keaton scene to this day. Batman - Wayne actually standing up to Joker in his own home.

You wanna get nuts?

The guy clearly ain't too proud to beg. Just hope we aren't chasing waterfalls with this news. We don't need no scrubs for this reboot.

Terry! Shame on you! It was Vicki's apartment!:cmad: Anyway, yay Keaton.:o

Before this news, I was interested in this movie.

This announcement guaranteed my ass will be in a seat on opening night.

Awww yeeeeeeeahhhhh! I love Laurie but this is mother****ing Michael Keaton we're talking about here. I literally jumped up and down when I heard this news.

No joke, the minute I laid eyes on this news, I said to myself "Somewhere in the world, Doc Jones is absolutely ****ting himself with joy right now." :funny:

Maybe I should know better, because the best cast in the world can still be in a crap movie...but then again, the best cast in the world could still make a crap movie worth watching in the first place. Hugh Laurie was good, but Michael Keaton makes me way more excited about this thing! I feel like I so rarely see him that any time I do, it's a treat. MICHAEL KEATON!

Freakin awesome news. Hope this leads to more Keaton on the big screen.

Judging by the rumours, and going by what we saw in the video they released, it's going to be a HUGE change...4 changes in his design, apparently. Because his original look gets laughed at by criminals :/

Oh god, yes! This is some of the best news I've heard in a while. MORE KEATON! :D

See, he brings to the table some of that satirical craziness I hope Padhilla tries to maintain from the original. Don't play it as straightforward as he probably wanted to.

Keaton better have some meaty material to work with in this movie. I want to see more of him on the big screen, goddamit.

Yeah, the only thing giving me pause about this news is that one of my other favorite actors, Bryan Cranston, played the villain in another Paul Verhoeven movie remake this year, and it didn't save that movie. Still, it can't hurt too much to be optimistic.

Michael Keaton and Samuel L> Jackson in the same movie, how can anyone miss this? The

I love Laurie so much, but Keaton getting cast is something else. They better not cast him for a tame soft-spoken CEO or anything. The role and Padilha better let him loose.

Commissioner Gordon, Nick Fury, and Batman all in the same movie! :woot:

it's too bad Keaton won't be playing a Boddicker-type villain. would have loved to hear him say "bit**es leave!"
