Did you all see this teaser poster yet?
Why does every damn costume have to be black and boring? I really hate modern costume design. It's not a big deal to me anyway, just wanted to comment on the Total Recall of next year.
Hey it could work. We'll see. But I do see this movie doing comparable business to Total Recall though.
Why is everyone complaining when we KNOW for a FACT this Robocop changes costumes through-out the film? Will all the hate and over-exaggerated reasons as to why this black mode sucks go right out the window the second everyone sees his social mode and likes it? I mean, come on already.
People complained (myself included) about the Catwoman costume. People complained about Bane's size. People complained about the Joker not having enough green in his hair or that he was wearing make-up. All 3 examples were sold on brilliant performances and characterizations of said people. Robocop is no different. You all seem to forget, it was Peter's PERFORMANCE as a robot cop that sold that suit. Back then we got Robocop the VCR. Now we got Robocop the iPhone. DEAL.
This, also people complaining about ideas in the movie that have probably not even been filmed yet is ludicrous.kickass, still not crazy about the Catwoman costume. Just because some of those examples worked doesn't mean everything will.
Look this movie is its own thing and they've clearly taken parts in a different direction. I think my main issue though is that it's such a dramatic departure from the original. Like you look at the new ED-209, you still see ED-209 in there.
Here's one without his faceplate.

That's definitely Kinnamen by the way. Just clearing that up as I saw some outlets like /film being confused about this.
but the ones who dont like the swat mode will still not like the swat mode durring the action scenes in the movie. correct or not?so what if they will like the social mode that is grey color? he will look black in the final act.Why is everyone complaining when we KNOW for a FACT this Robocop changes costumes through-out the film? Will all the hate and over-exaggerated reasons as to why this black mode sucks go right out the window the second everyone sees his social mode and likes it? I mean, come on already.

Dude, I don't know what movie you watched, but in RoboCop, Lewis saw Murphy getting slaughtered and didn't do **** about it. She was hiding from a perfect spot to shoot the thugs from the side- in fact they show her POV for a few seconds. She was armed, and didn't do anything. She chickened out (understandably- she was outnumbered).

I'm afraid your memory is mistaken. In the original, Lewis is knocked out of the way (and loses her weapon) by one of Clarence's men, gets up and hears a gunshot. She goes running towards the sound (and hears screaming), gets to the end of a passageway (where she's impeded by a heavy fence blocking her access) and sees the group firing their weapons. She runs back to take another way around, and arrives at Murphy's location just after Clarence and the group leaves.
She was actively trying to get to him - there was no "chickening out".
If it was up to me Robocop would have this design. But it would be black like the one that's being used for the new movie.

^^
It is logical but since it is a remake and that Robocop suit is iconic, the new version should be close to the original, updated but sill close ( like all Superman/Spiderman/Iron/etc man suits, they changed with time but you still recognize them ).
Only the helmet is remaining of the original.
