The Genesis version was much better. One of the few times where a Genesis game was better than the SNES version.

I agree, but the SNES version is no slouch. For some reason I love the robocop model in the SNES version. I dont remember exactly why at this point. It's more cartoony, but the movements were great from what I remember. Like the gun holster animation and such. The sega one is awesome though. Way more realistic models.

Gah I need to play those again... I'm waiting on the Retron 5!

When his wife gives consent to him being transformed then no it isn't.

It would be great if by the end of it, he completely loses the illusion of free will and is just OCP's property, with only the slightest, slightest glimmer that the real guy is under there (in the last shot of the movie), and even his family gives up and moves away. Sort of the opposite of the original in which he had reclaimed part of himself by the end.

But, I doubt they're going that way.

he doesn't die. murphy saves his life. that's why he's so dedicated to murphy as robocop later on.

I just love the original suit so much. The reboot might actually be good, but the suit just can't compare. It's too much of a cross between Iron Man and TDK suit.

At least, in name.

Only Murphy is remains. Though, the "new" characters live up to the originals IMO.

It was part of the Prime Directives show(it used to be up on Netflix. It may still be up?). But it was a guy named John Cable who was partners with Murphy. Robocop killed Cable for some reason(I think he was hacked), and then Cable was resurrected just like Murphy in a Robo suit. He then wanted to destroy Robocop, but then decided to team up with him in the end.

It was pretty lame.

I do recall a long time ago watching an episode of that show, it was horrible.
