"Hardly a masterpiece" seems like a bizarre criticism lol.
So your not gonna give us ANY impression? Haha.
Besides the title card, the old theme is only used once during Novak Element. It was pretty funny though, knowing it as the old Robocop theme used in a parody showt:
The music is ok I guess, I never really pay attention to movie music unless it really stand out and catch my attention, and usually it's just one piece of said music(Eg The Dark Knight theme, Pacific Rim main theme and Pirates of Caribbean main theme). In this movie's case, the standout music for me is Hocus Pocus....
Hocus Focus' still in the training sequence, so probably a lot of you guys are not gonna be happy. I personally like the song and thought it really work well with the action sequences for some reasonst:
The ending credits was nothing special, just credits. The song used is this, seems to be a classic rock and roll

Now, that's more like it, Mr. Wayne.
What I like about the article is that Padilha says this is the film he wanted to do. That there was no interference from executives or similar.
I talked to José Padilha for a week by phone. He will begin filming Robocop. He is saying that it is the worst experience. For every 10 ideas he has, 9 are cut. Whatever he wants, he has to fight This is hell here, he told me. The film will be good, but I never suffered so much and do not want to do it again. He is bitter, but its a fighter.

We don't actually know that. This could just be a case of generic positive PR comment. Plus, I have a hard time buying that comment when we've had him say this before:

Anyone know when the embargo is done and the reviews will start going up?
Killer. Looking forward to it.I'm seeing it on Friday and will be reviewing it fully on my FB page - screw any embargo rubbish
Yeah I've seen quite a few on Twitter.Unless you're a member of the press who agreed to an embargoed screening you're not obligated to do anything. Many people in the US have seen it in GA screenings. Plenty of reactions around FB and Twitter for those who look.
