The suits are almost identical.
They aren't that different. Same type of aesthetic.
Back to the ol' "any batsuit looks good when you can't see it in the dark" argument.
And then the person under the cowl is making the suit look bad? That doesn't make sense at all.
Lack of context? By that you mean lack of blurring / darkness to obscure the suit's defects.
Or people who thought the TDK suit was aesthetically bankrupt. It makes perfect ****ing sense. Put any batsuit under harsh light without any sort of context and it'll look ugly/plain/cheap/silly. People *****ed about TDK suite when the first image leaked way back when, and the only people that actually *****ed about it after the film came out where jumped up purists with too much time on their hands.
Ooooookay, someone needs a break from the superherohype. It makes perfect ****ing sense. Put any batsuit under harsh light without any sort of context and it'll look ugly/plain/cheap/silly. I mean christ, it's one thing to be like "eh, not a fan of the suite" and another to just insecently complain and pick apart every detail and act like your mothers took away your favorite toy.

Ooooookay, someone needs a break from the superherohype.
And not just because i disagree with what you're saying...
A good batsuit looks good under any type of light.
the first batsuit image from TDK looked good because it was lit in a way that made the suit look best. But in most other circumstances, it looked bad, therefore making it a bad suit.
Like I said, a good suit will look good regardless of lighting
They're discussing their opinions on the suit/s. This is a discussion board. What "most circumstances?"
The fact is MOST people don't have a problem with TDK suit. It's not until I found this thread that I saw people found it bad, hence...whiny fanboys who have nothing better to do but pick apart every line and seam of every batsuit they see...for what reason exactly? Whats the point of *****ing over manips, fansuits and other crap that has nothing to do with the films or the comics? You don't like the new game suit, ****ing change the skin or get over the fact you hate the rivet on the left shoulder pad or whatever.
This from the guy who keeps spelling "suit" as "suite."![]()
Yes, because being a condescending grammar Nazi really puts people in their place. Nice way to dodge trying to actually come up with a counter argument.
Another poster who has come to a site dedicated to fans analyzing / critiquing media about their favorite heroes is surprised that fans analyze / critique media about their favorite heroes.
They musical suit and AK suit are the same type of puzzle piece armor aesthetic. Just because the puzzle pieces are shaped slightly differently doesn't make it "different." Its going for the same visual.
There's nothing to critique! The majority of the SUITES posted here are fan renditions! Not for the films, or games or anything else. You people have used 15 pages to whine about crap that isn't applicable to actual debate.
There was nothing of substance to counter.
I would expect that someone who berates others about their criticisms of a suit would at least know how to spell the word. So I was questioning the credibility of your opinion, not your grammar.
I just don't see the point in discussing crap that has no real application in the world of Batman. The majority of the suites posted here are fanmade, fan drawn, or manip stuff. I just don't see the logic or reasoning in picking apart something that is essentially fanfic, so fiercely.
Heh, I like the new Arkham Knight suit. Then again, I don't equate the term "trash" with "anything other than Batman's classic comic look".
