Here's a bigger version of that art. There are a lot of cool details, but that belt SUCKS!

I really don't think mobility was much of an issue with the Nolan suits. I truly think Nolan is just a ****** action director. He just does not have an eye for bringing superheroes to life visually.
A Zac Snyder Batman movie(s) with the exact same scripts, sets, cast and even Batsuits would have looked COMPLETELY different to Nolan's movies, just in the WAY it was shot and the action staged.
And if for whatever reason the forced Snyder to put a BB/TDK esque suit on Affleck for this film, the fights would still look way better. Don't forget - the Nite Owl and Ozymandias suits were still pretty Burton/Nolany in terms of how they were made and those fights were great.
The Night Owl suit was metallic looking fabric....not like the stiff rubber sections of the Bat suit....
I MEAN LOOKS AT THIS:

His neck couldn't even move his neck.......LOL
Rubber sections everwhere
But cant we strike fear and be able to "MOVE" fluidly like Cap?? These two qualities of a Bat Suit are not mutually exclusive..........Cap took on Batroc without his shield. He fought 12 bruisers in an elevator with his shield lying on the floor.
I think the suit should look really close to this:

Look at how he's able to move.....now granted.....Batman would never follow an unknown guy with claws into such a confined space.....AND no Burton armor
could keep adamantium claws out. So, let's cut the "it looks like spandex" crap. I think Cap's Shield uniform is a get idea for how the Bat suit should look and function....
Batman needs to be able to slide, kick, leap, leg swipe and do all the things Cap did.
cool where did you find it? too bad that this belt is![]()

But not the one that they wanted.^^ That's just what everyone needed!
That's not quite right.
They revealed it a day or two before they started shooting exteriors with him in the suit (on Kent Farm, then the next couple of days for the Smallville battle), but they'd shot stuff before then (The tornado/car scenes, I believe).
So just because filming begins on the 19th of May, we may not get anything for a couple for weeks after that...
Definitely not the science (black is better than blue) and only part of the history... medieval Japanese didnt have access to the black dyes needed to make such a dark cloth. On the other hand, indigo dye has been well-established in Japan since the 12th century. And there is a species of indigo that is native to Japan and was popular among peasants, so they had a relatively cheap way to dye clothes dark blue.Aaaagh, someone busting out science & history on why dark blue's better!
Um, no.
Like:
-The texture
-Coloring
-Seems to flow organically
Don't like:
-Body proportions
-Weird pose
-The belt
