I don't get it. You could compare a movie set of a Western sheriff's office (made from painted balsa wood), with a movie set of the hull of an alien space craft (made from painted balsa wood), and declare the only difference to be what they are supposed to represent.

Isn't that the point of sets, props, makeup and costume?

My point was in reference to the new suit either being radically different in construction design and/or more flexible/lightweight for the actor to wear.

I said aesthetically there is a difference, but i'm just talking about overall suit construction, I'm not sure if they did anything so different behind the scenes than the past Nolan suits?

I will be interested to find out more about the making of the new suit as I am with all the Batman suits.

I don't know, the new bodysuit doesn't look like foam latex to me. It looks like the same sort of stuff they used for Cavill's Supersuit and the Spider-Man suits, with the same sort of muscle undersuit used for Cavill's Supersuit. I think the move away from foam latex is a big change.

I'd love to see Batfleck wear a Neal Adams influenced outfit in the JL films.

Same. Dark blue instead of black. Maybe slightly longer ears on the cowl, as long as it doesn't throw off the whole look of it.

It's possible. Pperhaps the reason I'm still getting the foam latex body suit vibe is that it just doesn't seem to flow with Ben Afflecks built like the Man of Steel suit did with Cavil's.

It just seems more blocky/artificial especially the chest area. Also unlike the Man of Suit they seem to be making it evident it's not just bareskin under the suit but some armor too, with the the bullet holes being visible.

We have to see also THE BOOTS !!! It is very important and i hope that they are not ugly like in Nolan's Batsuit !

For real? I have no idea what the boots on the Nolan suit look like, it never occurred to me that I should be looking at his feet.

Do you think is there a possibility because of this poster to a switchable white eyes for example detective mode?

I'm not sure why the poster would make that a possibility, but at least it finally ends the debate about the colours of the suit.

Because on the poster it looks like he has them.

I don't see it, the Superman logo is surrounded by the ragged white outline, and the only thing we can see inside the eyehole is what could very easily be the bag under his eye.

I dont see it. I would like white contacts but there aren't white eyes on the poster.

Well, maybe they just forgot to put the black paint on his eyelids. :woot:

I get the style behind these posters but it's almost as if every piece of Batman photo always has his eyes obscured or closed. Strange coincidence to say the least.

I think its very much intentional, not a coincidence.

We already saw him in the trailer in the suit most likely with his eyes open.

Steve, the scene where his face is all obscured by darkness? Snyder is such a tease!

Also do the black and grey parts of the suit look really touched up and articifical to anyone? Might be just me but it looks like they darkened those elements after the fact to enhance the photo. I get the feeling it won't be as drastic in the movie.

Superman's eyes are covered in his poster too.

i wouldn't think too much into it. Even if he has lenses, I imagine they'd be retractable.

But in previous Superman's pics they didn't hide his eyes with tricks :p

But I agree if there are lenses would be retractable.

But they hid Supes' lack of briefs with tricks...

GASP maybe Batman doesn't even have eyes!!!!

Maybe they're concealing his eyes because they look like this:
