Anybody think, or have any problems, we will see the return of the mech suit when he needs extra protection and strength? It would be a great way to subvert the whole plot armour situation and I would love to see him add extra offensive capabilities to it. Just in a situation where he is in the field fighting parademons and Darkseid and kalibak are a few yards away causing buildings to collapse. I think Bruce knows Kevlar just won't cut it in a situation like that.

I sincerely hope the mech suit has made it's first and last appearance in this movie.

I have no doubt it will be in 100 pieces by the end of their fight.

maybe Superman will be nice and give Batman some Kryptonian armor. That armor would help ...a little, but Supes still knocked the crap out of it anyway so...

Zods is laying around on a roof somewhere...

Did I hear correctly that Snyder said the Mech suit only offers "some" protection and is not powered so no extra strength?

If so, Batman moves pretty good for a guy hauling 200 pounds of steel on his back. ( I know, it's not steel, it's some exotic metal, but it looks like steel, very thick and heavy looking.)

Still just an egg in a basket.:sly:

I think it would be cool if the fight ended with Batman whaling on Supes with his regular suit, wondering why Supes won't fight back, only for Supes to finally lose his temper and fire heat vision at Batman, which gets deflected by Wonder Woman. I'd love for Supes to have a look of "What have I done?" in reaction to nearly killing Batman, and it would be cool for Batman and Supes to stare at WW, wondering why she's there.

I don't know if it's in character to lose his composure like that. He is all about self-control regarding his powers after all.

Wow sheesh why no love for the mech suit ? I can't be the only one that adores its design and look. I wanna see it take on more beings than superman.

^ But Superman's also human-emotionally speaking. If you were clobbered to the point of nearly having your face pummeled into squishiness, wouldn't you snap?

I think having Superman finally snap would be very dramatic. It isn't in his normal character, but his normal character isn't used to fighting a human who is in over his head.

I really like the mech suit. I want 75 percent of the fight to take place in the suit, because it prevents Superman from having to physically touch Batman.

Well, to be fair, if someone can push his buttons, that's most definitely Batman.

^ Batman, Luthor, and the societal pressures of having to be a role model to EVERYONE.

Again, it makes me think of the scene near the end of the Iron Giant where
the giant nearly fires a weopon at a ship, I think
. It's totally out of character, but he's been through so much that it's only..for lack of a better word..human.

Yeah, I get you. Having the character do something unexpected, something that surprises him as much as the audience, is definitely a legit and, if executed well and done in the right moment in the story, very interesting and impactful thing.

Exactly. Batman should be abusing Superman psychologically and physically. I think having Wonder Woman save Batman allows Superman to not do something he would regret, while having Superman lose control would showcase his humanity. I'd love it if Batman was about to take another cheap shot at Superman, and get punished by WW for his just deserts.

I'd be awesome if WW gave a speech that validated Superman's heroism and humanity, while validating the need for a darker figure as Batman. It'd be great if they realized the need for each other, and shook hands afterward.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the design or the look, it's the overall concept. It's just not suitable for Batman, as he relies on his agility and speed to avoid damage. A heavy mech suit like this prevents that. Using the mech suit more than once and it quickly becomes a gimmick, something he should never rely on as his means of protection, as it is easily bypassed. In the DC universe there are plenty of villains as strong as Superman who wouldn't hesitate to rip a slow moving Batman to shreds, unlike our big blue boy scout. In situations like that, the suit would be more of a liability than a help.

I'd like to see Batman push Superman to the point of snapping and is just about to break him in two when he is stopped by his own morals. To see the fear in Batmans eyes saying..."I may have made a huge mistake" and superman remembering what he stands for....

He was always able to restrain himself as a child and young man as the flashback scenes in MOS showed. He knows what he is capable of. He is afraid of loosing control.

Can be very powerful moments in BvS.

Can't wait.

Yea but no matter how much speed and agility Batman could muster up I think it would be impossible for him to move faster than a being that can fly at like Mach 2 and Something in my innards is telling me that snyder is underplaying the suits ability to protect Batman from damage. The part with it not significantly augmenting his strength is plausible, but not offering substantial protection from the worlds strongest being? I doubt it.

I love the suit! I just don't want it be in every movie.
