Exactly how I feel about it. And less Mecha Batsuit means more screentime for the perfect regular Batsuit.I love the suit! I just don't want it be in every movie.
Yea but no matter how much speed and agility Batman could muster up I think it would be impossible for him to move faster than a being that can fly at like Mach 2 and Something in my innards is telling me that snyder is underplaying the suits ability to protect Batman from damage. The part with it not significantly augmenting his strength is plausible, but not offering substantial protection from the worlds strongest being? I doubt it.
I sincerely doubt there are any Earth materials that could stand up to Superman, which, in effect renders the suit kind of pointless. Also, you say Superman is just too fast, yet on the other hand, you're claiming that there are Earth metals that he can't damage? Either he's all powerful (and very boring) or he isn't. Which is it?
I'm not sure that being fast and being able to damage certain metals correlate with each other. Also there is also the possibility, a theory which I really hope is true, that the mech suit is made from zods armour. It was withstanding significant damage from superman when zod was using it so I dont see why it wouldn't protect Bruce.
Since we don't know that these Kryptonia s project a force field, it's safe to assume that the armor was just really, really tough.
Well there is some evidence that it exists. Superman's suit has been show to be able to take a lot of punishment....Smallville fight, Black Zero fight, Zod fight and yet no damage...yet on board Zod's ship...when his powers were nullified they were able to stick a needle in it to draw his blood.
also if the armor was able to provide some protection from Superman's blows then it would have been stupid for Zod to discard it in a fight.
I think it's more to do with the Kryptonian material being affected by the kryptonian vs Earth atmosphere the same way a Kryptonian is.I don't think that's evidence of anything but particularly tough armor/material.
The needle-through-the-suit was probably just an oversight. It happens all the time.
Zod was 1) overconfident and 2) not the brightest crayon in the box.

A modernization wouldn't look so bad:I don't think I'd be able to take it seriously in live action, though.![]()

The silhouette would be the most intimidating one seen on film yet.
Well I don't see superman being able to move at Mach 2 speeds when he's weakened by kryptonite.
That doesn't explain the cape, though. I think it's more likely that kryptonian materials are effected by yellow suns the same way kryptonians are.Well there is some evidence that it exists.
