Yeah it looks like a well choreographed and filmed scene that gives us ferocious batman that resembles one from the arkham games.

I don't even see any CG in the fight scene. Maybe the wood that he gets thrown in to but that's it.

While Snyder enjoys his CG, he enjoys practical fight scenes a lot. Sure in high spectacles(as the should be), but he's always been for practical first, then embellished CG.

I don't see anything in the fight scene that suggests CGI. Even the cape, which we know will be CGI in some scenes, looks real.

A CGI cape would look real, because it's really easy these days to do a CGI cape that looked 100% real. The reason to use it would be to keep an awkward heavy cape out of the way when doing complicated stunts, and to make it move better than the real one might. There's nothing in the footage to say one way or the other, but it's entirely possible that it may be the case in some shots.

I mean, the cape in MOS was CGI for many if not most action shots, and you'd absolutely never pick it.

Ya'll know me as the CG hater, I didn't notice any CG in that fight.

You realize that the best CG is the CG you *don't* notice, right? Only bad CG sticks out.

I see a lot more wireworks than CG.

I didn't really notice anything that would even be wirework. No-one's getting punched 20 feet or leaping like a superhuman.

It looks like a fight out of The Raid or something. Nothing about it looks impossible. That's why I think that if there is CGI, it's pretty much limited to cape work.

(and of course the window smash and coming up through the floor have a lot of digital elements - but we're talking about the actual *fight* scenes here).

Vindication! For years I've gone back and forth with fan boys saying that they needed to dump that heavy armor he's been wearing for 27 years! Ever since Burton, he's had on rubber suit or another! Fanboys be like , "Nawww the black rubber is "realistic".

Whatever...............

Fights could never show how quick and nimble Batman should be.....Fights in the Nolan films were all forearm fights and low kicks. No leaping and no real jumping......

I argued for this exact suit! Thin and still protective.......

This will be the BEST Batman ever to hit the big screen....

Pfft, call me when you've won the white lenses debate.

;)

At least we know now how the hell he stops that knife.

I can't wait to see him put that thing on.

It doesn't look like the ears can fit under the cowl, but suspension of disbelief and all... bless Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

And screw that albatross.

Pretty much the idea of the whole suit is the Nolan take with the tech and armor but under a more material looking design over it.

The helmet description seems quite close to the Nolan model right down to the drop down lenses.

That's how the suit is depicted in a lot of Batman media.
Let's not act like Nolan created Batman.

With the lenses confirmation, I do wonder how that'll look with the standard cowl. Nolan's interpretation was off-putting due to its size, it looked damn cartoony at times. I'm even partly surprised it has looked great so far with the mech-armor.

Yeah, I think Jim Lee was among the first artists to bring the idea to fruition. Here's one of his old "under armor" sketches going back to 2002-2003.

He didn't but I remember when we first got the images of the new suit there were a few people arguing it really was the "clothes suit" they've been wanting. Meaning it was literally Batman with some thin fabric like what Superman is wearing.

I always figured it was supposed to be armor and tech under there.

Even til like last week people thought his cowl might actually fold backwards like it does in the comics but it's obvious from the image of what's supposed to be under the cowl it's not fold-able material.

Is this description supposed to be for the Armored Batsuit or the regular one?

Because we've seen Supes pull the regular cowl off Batman's head and you clearly see there's nothing there as it was still flopping around in his hand.

I think there's unofficial conformation that's a dream/nightmare sequence shown.
