I wonder how much it would cost to produce a short fan film of a decent quality?

Wouldn't be worth making. I want a big budget, gorgeous, glossy film full of gangsters, tommy guns, flappers, classic cars, the last few years of prohibition, and a completely Gothic representation of Batman in his classic grey and black suit. Similar to what Captain America was, but, you know, I'd want mine to actually be good.

Not a bad look imo. Personally the last thing I want to see is WW in live action in her star spangled knickers.

I actually really do want to see the bare legs and the classic if not the New 52 costume.

Wonder Woman doesn't shy away from showing skin because she knows that in man's world an Amazon's sexuality and incredible looks are valuable weapons.

I love the Azarello issue where they showed how the Amazon's had children (To the fortune/misfortune of sailors). Really brought this point home.

Personally I think the New 52 WW looked better before they caved in and gave her trunks again.

I haven't read that issue so I wouldn't know what happens there.

That's an interesting perspective. I don't know Wonder Woman that well, in that I only followed the run between One Year Later and that crappy worldy-endy stuff before the new 52, when I just gave up. Nevertheless, I have always tended to think of her being aloof from her sexual appeal to most men. She has bare legs because she finds it cool and comfortable. She is indifferent to the pervy reaction she might inspire.

In my mind, she contrasts starkly with Catwoman in that regard.

Basically when the Amazons want to conceive they build boats, sail out into shipping lanes completely naked at night and then board the boats with human sailors, proceed to give the sailors a night of pleasure and then kill them all after they've conceived.

Brutal but effective.

What a way to go.

About them trunks. Isn't it safe to say Batman will not have trunks in this movie? I would go with 99% certainty.

What makes you say that?

He has devised an extremely precise formula for calculating the likelihood of traditional wrestlers' briefs appearing in movies. It is accurate to within 1%.

It is expressed like this

x = yz

Where x is a guess, y is conjecture and z is opinion.

Because... Superman doesn't have them either. So Batman is going to look ridicilous next to him with trunks. They are not going to do it.

Plus he doesn't even have them in the main comics or video games or cartoons anymore

You can just as easily argue that the lack of trunks on the MoS suit was due to the suit being Kryptonian garb.

If Superman decides to change to a more earthly attire, than that right there opens the door.

Ahahaha! I will gladly be mocked and dragged in chains on these forums if Batman AND Superman end up with briefs on this movie! Neither is going to have them!

Aside from 1920s strongman competitions and comic conventions... where on Earth are trunks on the outside an earthly attire?

On superhero costumes.

Well that was easy.

Wait do we solve for x, or for yz? I was never a big fan of algebra.

Wearing what is essentially the "long john" underwear of his homeworld.

So when Clark has his shared dream with Zod on the Black Zero... they're both in their underwear?

Creepy.

Long johns are a long way away from briefs.

I personally, wouldn't want the trunks back.

There's no need for them and times are changing. Move on.
