No, it wouldn't really be that interesting.

Well, I don't think it'd really be any different from showing any other aspect of the suit in which we learn how prepared the character is beyond just having some sort of armor or whatever.

I just cannot get behind the idea of anything other than an all black suit. I am not with this grey and blue Batsuits those are so lame and look corny. All black is the most realistic colors that would be worn and they looks awesome. I hope they stick to all black and just do better upgrades from the Dark Knight trilogy. Add in a little more yellow and there you go.

Batman isn't real. So, does he really need "realistic" colors? And supposedly grey is just fine for "realism" too.

Everyone knows black is a more realistic color than all other colors.

They could just do black and slightly "darker" black for certain elements and it would look gray and black.

Poof. Problem more or less solved.

Ok, how about this? The way that the character and his world is set up and the situations that he finds himself in, makes having an all-black costume the best way to go.

That's not exactly fair to say. When's the last time you saw a grey and blue Batman on the big screen with modern day CGI? You haven't. I wouldn't rule it out based on you "thinking" it'll look cheesy. Who's to say they can't pull it off?

I don't know. I mean, the past films didn't give a reason as to why his suits were all black. So, same could be done with a black and grey suit as well.

Do they? I don't think so.

people who are in dangerous situations all the time know that black is the best to be dressed in.

Yes because we all know navy seals prowl in the darkness like ninjas in an urban American city....

I think the argument that an all-black suit helps him prowl around in the dark better is nullified by the fact that he wears a bright yellow belt and (sometimes) a bright yellow oval.

Well... An all black suit can't have a yellow belt by definition... Lol

Except that the Nolan version had a darker shade of yellow for the belt, so that problem was minimized. And yes, all-black does work better if you want to hide in the shadows and strike without warning imo.

Even though the evidence is that it doesn't.

That's certainly true, I'm just pointing out that the yellow belt, even a more muted one like the Nolan version, still stands out and would probably give him away unless he spends all his time crouching.

Actually, it isn't. Blue-and-grey and black-and-grey are the best colours for camouflage in the dark. Wearing all black makes you more visible.

black actually sucks for stealth. real ninjas didn't dress in black but more like dark brown or blue which blends much better at night. i'd say gray/darkblue scheme would fit better.
