Interesting how they chose looseness in the belly area over the usual roided, form-fitting abs.

The suit is all about the observation of little details for me... still can't take it in as a whole. There's much I like, much I would remove. Love the color combo, dislike the Marvel lines. Love the trunk design and yellow edge around the shield, wish the cape was a little shorter so you'd have the boots as a more defined part of the silhouette. I think folks underestimate the beauty of a shorter cape. But they get points for the shield in the back.

This is actually what I was indirectly referencing to in my last comment concerning the suit... it doesn't show off the definition of his muscles. Even my wife, who's not a comic book nerd, thinks that the suit is a bit baggy

There have been set pics where Hoechlin’s suit has looked baggy. Never really ends up being a problem on-screen.

All that iron pumping just for it to be covered by baggy costume!!!!

I don't think baggy is necessarily a dealbreaker. It comes off a bit unassuming, which fits with the character. You always want your superhero stuff to look macho cool, but I think Gunn is also going for endearing with the look.

It just doesn't give off much definition, is all. It's not baggy, but the creases and materials make it look that way. Think All-Star Superman. That version of Supes had creases and took away his physique and definition but it's basically the material in general. David still looks stout in areas.

Given’s Gunn’s All Star / All Seasons influences I was not expecting rippling abs.

And if he’s going this route, looser fits with no muscle definition, I can understand the decision to bring back some texture through the New 52 elements, not to mention it also just provides that modern / classic balance.

I like the vibe. David lookin like a big boi / gentle giant

I do wonder what the big threat Superman is going to be fighting in the third act of the movie, because it seems pretty powerful. City destruction, the national guard, Mr. Terrific providing a rescue craft for Lois and Perry, etc.

I honestly don't have any loyalty to anyone... when the concerns this character, I'm loyal to Superman and Superman only.

To say that "Snyder" had enough movies for a fairly heavy Blu Ray set... I question that, because when it concerned the original lineup for what Snyder wanted to do with the DCEU, there were a number of movies that were never originally meant to be made, yet those movies were the very movies that hurt the DCEU and made it the laughingstock that had turned out to be... Black Adam was meant to try and bring back the original vision that Snyder had, and I honestly do think if Black Adam was released in China, it would have made a much better international box office run than what it originally made.
Listen brother, I believe Man of Steel is the best Superman movie ever made and I liked the Snyder cut Justice league better then the first Avengers movie but even Snyder fans have to admit there is a reason WB suits cut Henry's role in half for BVS and they put Superman in the freezer for most of the Justice League movie. Henry Cavil was nut cutting it as Superman. For the DCU to succeed you need Superman front and center, not fourth to Batman, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman like he was in the Snyderverse.

WCW beating WWF's sphincter into the dirt for 83 weeks was a miracle giving the situation the organization was in at the time when Bischoff took over. WCW was always second rated citizens under the Turner umbrella and only existed because Tedd liked wrestling. The powers that be that ran Turner Broadcasting loathed wrestling, even when Nitro was the highest rated television show on any network. Bischoff was a pioneer of wrestling of what he was doing when he kicked off Nitro .Things that Vince was forced to do to survive before he got to the attitude era, stole the edginess of what WCW was doing, before WCW was forced to budget cut their own standards and practices. WCW was doomed since the beginning, but man what a time it was!

Speaking of Flair, he is so awesome! My family and I met him in 2008 while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. My dad is the type of dude that makes friends easily, and Ric took a liking to him where they took turns buying each other rounds. We are from Pittsburgh, and he called my dad "Mr.Pittsburgh". My dad asked him one day if the huge yacht behind him was his. Flair turned, smirked, and responded: "No Mr.Pittsburgh...mines bigger"!😅 it was the coolest moment ever!

Oh, and I am forever a little Stinger! OwwWWWww!🦂
