NGL, I've never been into bald guys or Nicholas Hoult but for some reason this is the first time I've ever found him attractive. :funny:

Mr. Hoult has gotten so much better as an actor as well. Just got finished his vampire flick. He was excellent in it. Nicolas was the runner up for Batman and in the running for Supes. I think we will have one of a kind Lex in the Superman movie.

Jeff Sneider has lost all credibility. You guys are right let’s just see the movie for ourselves. To me Supes is rolling with My Adventures with Superman and the last season of Superman and Lois. Sneider just was fishing for negative fan boy clicks. It’s scary how many people on YouTube are making a living off of negative DC news.

I take these " test screenings scoops" with a grain of salt at this point.

It becomes too tempting for fans to cherry pick the allegedly positive ones ,and the allegedly negative ones, to fit whatever bias they lean towards.

In terms of how I'll feel about a project, I've got to see it for myself .

With all due respect, I adamantly disagree with all of the posts on here stating “I’ll watch the film and decide for myself whether I like it or not.”

This is 2025 y’all. I am going to wait and see what toxic people with agendas have to say about the film and I’ll let them decide and then influence me. Then I plan to blindly adopt the internet consensus of whether the film is good or not.
Finally I will ridicule and ostracize those who disagree.

That’s the American way!

I think there's an additional component in that people are a little anxious about how the film will be received on the whole, given how much is riding on its success. That probably makes some of them more susceptible to anyone with a pulpit who claims to have inside knowledge. Clearly, that guy is Sneider right now, but if it weren't him, it would be someone else. It always is. In any case, the Reinfelds and Herr Knocks on the board have already been urged to stop disseminating his negativity so much, and the film itself is right around the corner. We'll know for sure what's what then.

I know that it may seem to be an uphill battle, but in my heart of hearts, I want to believe that people are wanting a bright, hopeful and uplifting Superman film. If it turns out to be as good as we hope, I could see it resonating with audiences in the same way as a Top Gun: Maverick where it is a must see event in a theater.

I honestly don't think it is going to be that much of an uphill battle...I think most people don't care and as long as the trailer looks cool will decide based on that. I think people around here overthink things way too much because of the bubble we are in.

While Gunn’s track record with CBM’s is certainly encouraging, I remain cautious because this is the first one that feels outside of his usual wheelhouse. He’s doing something different here, which could be a great thing, but also could be like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. We just don’t know because he’s never done a character like Supes before. Which is both exciting and a little nerve-wracking for me lol. But like I said, cautiously optimistic. I at least know he has a better handle on what audiences want and is a competent storyteller, so that’s two things he’s got going for him that the last guy didn’t. In that sense, I AM pretty confident I’ll at least enjoy this better than the previous incarnation, which ain’t nothing.

Also, not listening to Sneider’s latest reports on the runtime or screening any more than his previous reports on this film.
