Ah but they still can with Ruffalo though!
And if Natalie Portman and Gwyneth Paltrow had some cameos, then those two can be milked as well.
I'm pretty sure hulk can take Thor![]()
I don't know, it definitly seemed they were willing to put Thor on a Superman like status.....
the way he handled himself when he had power was pretty awe inspiring.
FYI...Superman is nothing special compared to Hulk or Thor.

With Hulk VS Superman it's the same story as with Hulk VS Thor or any big player, all of these characters have a limit to their strength except for Hulk, it's just whether they can incapacitate him before he overpowers them.
Indeed.
Ever since watching TIH, and hearing that the Avengers was going to happen, I was waiting to see as to how Norton's Banner was going to interact with the rest of the Avengers.
Oh well.

I agree B that Superman has far more abilities at his disposal that could win him the fight but it still depends on how quickly he acts. As for feats of strength that have been performed, I'm not sure on Superman's but I think one of Hulk's most impressive was punching throught the space-time barrier. Though at the end of the day as Poni_boy said, it all depends on the writer.
On a simple toe to toe basis, of course, Superman may have some problems (depending on the Hulk incarnation he's facing, that is) but the great equalizer is flight. If he wanted to, Superman (and Thor) could engage in a strictly aerial assault, to which the Hulk really has no answer.
And, depending on the Hulk they're facing, they both could probably outsmart him, especially Thor, who has years of tactical expertise. The main problem with Thor however, is ego. He would want to just stand there trading blows, to prove a point, and for most of their comic history, that's what he's done, to varying results.
