Honestly I'm not against Elizabeth Lail as Susan Storm. I really liked her in You and she is stunning. But she's a bit too unknown still.

He was perfect for Fantastic Beasts its Rowling and her scripts that have let him down. I do predict well see Redmayne in a MCU film eventually same with Matt Smith. Hoping Smith gets cast as Nightmare in Doctor Strange 2.
I can't look to a single one of his films and say I've ever found him to be the thing I liked in them. He's a big no for me if we're looking for a Reed Richard.

All of that sounds like BS and the casting ideas are totally random.

I mean look at the casting list for Sue Storm. It's just a group of pretty blonde actresses who don't have many notable film roles yet. C'mon guys. Use your heads.

Also, how the hell do you ****ing quote the X-Mansion. The X-Mansion is not a person. You don't quote it.

What the hell does quoting Magneto when the mutants appear mean?

I think the person worded it badly. I don't think he means that they quote the words of Magneto or quote the X-Mansion. I think he means that they simply mention Magneto or the X-Mansion. That would make more sense.

Where is this casting list for Sue Storm anyway?

I also feel like thats where we are heading though it would make sense in the context of the MCU that way they can separate themselves from the 3 Fox films.
Yes but you'd essentially be turning them into Micronauts. Also, one of the greatest things about the F4 is them introducing new elements and concepts to the MCU. I'd rather them be stuck in the Negative Zone because that actually has relevance in the F4 mythos. To be honest, I'm kinda tired of hearing the Quantum Realm being tied to everyone and everything that it does not fit. I hope the last we see of that idea is in Avengers Endgame

I don't know anything about that defiant guy but I get the feeling he has lots of bs inside him.

Has he ever been right before about any film scoops?

I don't like the idea of everyone getting their powers from only one or two sources. It becomes like the Flash TV show where everyone is a meta as a result of the particle accelerator explosion, or like Agents of SHIELD where everyone is an Inhuman.

I understand Marvel want to show how everything is connected, but part of what I liked about the comics is how everyone got their powers from completely different sources and not even remotely connected with each other. It wasn't a case of "one accident creates all".

Here's a quote from Feige. Sounds like the quantum realm is here to stay tbh.

Without giving anything away, we love, you know, these… they’re all storytelling tools; new places, new things. [...] There are things that you see back there… that Peyton has put in there - where and how they pay off in the near term, in the long term… remains to be seen.

Great seeing F4 content in the spotlight again

The spotlight push begins and I love it! Welcome home Fantastic Four and X-Men

I wish Marvel did a little video presentation on their YouTube channel on the properties they're getting back, even if they're not saying what they're going to do with it. Just something about how it's exciting to get them back and what they get back and how it opens up many more possibilities for storytelling now.

Much left to explore in the quantum realm. Will be interesting in what we find. Jannet Pym may not the only being or even human that had been there for a long time

Cant help but wonder if Janet will end up being a mutant given her odd powers she gained in the quantum realm.

Why would she be a mutant? If she gained them in there, she would be a mutate, just like Spider-Man and Hulk are. Mutants imply they were that way from birth and it is in their genetic disposition. Mutates are people who were regular normal human beings whose DNA were mutated by an accident or incident.

They should explore those things/that universe in Ant-Man 3, where it belongs imo. Have Lang and Hope have a 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' style trip in there.

That doesn't make her a mutant unless they force an X-Gene connection with the Quantum Realm

Yeah, I think they should do something to acknowledge the event. It's not a secret that they're getting these rights back, and fans are pretty stoked, so I think some kind of poster, banner video etc. just to say "Yeah, we're excited too, welcome home" would be a cool way acknowledge the fans and what's going on.

The only connection to the Quantum Realm that I want the FF to have is that it is where they encounter the Psycho Man. He inhabited a micro universe and was the one who unleashed the Malice persona in Sue Richards. Having Psycho Man in the Quantum Realm instead of the Microverse amounts to the same thing, because it's just the same location by a different name (cf the cosmic cube and the Tesseract).

Other than that, I want the FF to gain their powers from a cosmic accident in outer space, not inner space.

I can just imagine the barrage of new tweets and youtube of people with pitchforks in reaction to it. Still angry about Disney buying fox and MCU fans celebrating something

Not always.

The comics have also used the word to describe a character who had the X-Gene, but it didn't activate through natural means, but by an external source such as some exposure to exotic energies or experimentation.
Mr Siniter falls under this description, as do a lot of the Genoshan citizens enslaved by Moreau and the magistrates.

well they did acknowledge that the deal closed on Wednesday all the Avengers social media accounts tweeted the Disney press release. So they were aware. We also got that tweet from Ryan Reynolds which cant have been a coincidence. Maybe theres a transfer of rights still has to happen? I wonder if Feige got the green light to start developing the fox properties on Wednesday morning or they have to wait a bit.

But they still had the X-gene dormant in them, whether it manifested naturally or needed some help.

But someone like Spider-Man, as far as his original story goes, had no X-gene at all. When he was bitten by the spider, it imbued him with powers rather than triggered latent ones. Hulk was supposed to be that too. However, the Incredible Hulk #312 and the Ang Lee film seems to retcon that, as if to say that he was a mutant and the gamma bomb (or accident in whatever form it took) only triggered what was already there. I prefer the original version established by Lee and Kirby that it simply gave an ordinary human extraordinary powers.

Other characters falling into the similar "mutate" category are the likes of Daredevil, Luke Cage, even Carol Danvers.

Since when has the Quantum Realm ever been the cause of the X-Gene activating in a host? Usually when a mutation is forced into an individual (such could be the case with Pietro and Wanda) it's still from a natural source..

Also Sinister is technically not a mutant, he's a mutate like Spider-Man and the F4. He was obsessed with mutants, though. Idk Janet being a mutant is a forced, tenuous connection that does not need to be made. If Janet was truly a mutant, her power would have kicked in wayyy earlier in life, during puberty - from a natural situation.

The only connection that needs to be made is to the Maximoff twins

Hypocrisy much?

From me? How so? I don't care if those people are still bitter. You won't find me tweeting about them, I don't make videos, not big posts completly trashing them.

I sympathise with them over the job layoffs
