They should race bend Ducktor Doom. They should make him a Platypus.
Yes, Banshee too. Any character who has a defined cultural and ethnic background that is integral to their character shouldn't be changed. That includes Sean if he ever shows up in the MCU. He's a peer of XavierWhat about the characters I mentioned? Aren't they already specific ethnicities? Are you saying you can have a non-African Storm?
And even someone like Banshee has to be white. Now someone could argue that it isn't essential and there's nothing inherently white about him. But the very name "Banshee" comes from Irish and Celtic myth, being a wailing Irish spirit. So you can't exactly make him an African or say that he was named after an African spirit or a Russian spirit. If he were named after a Russian spirit, then call him Smirnoff not Banshee.![]()

The thing is,the original version had the Black Panther and Wyatt Wingfoot. and I really think that the new and old versions of Nick Fury can coexist. I don't think it's wrong for the Stan and Jack's original version to still be important.I don't want the FF race changed on film because then they're likely to do that in all other media as well. I don't want the classic version to feel like it's not the proper official version anymore or for it to fade into obscurity like classic Nick Fury is even in danger of doing.
I agree and I would also add that making the X-Men diverse doesn’t always mean changing the race/ethnicity of certain characters. You can throw gay characters into the mix so could have the X-Men feel representative of people from all walks of life that whether that be race, gender, or sexual orientation. Kit Harrington recently made rounds on the news about his comments asking why Marvel doesn’t cast a gay actor to play a superhero. And I think that’s a rather salient point.
The sexual orientation of actors should not be something that the studio concerns itself with when making casting decisions. The actor' suitability for the role and acting ability are all that matter.
Also how does Kit know there hasn't been any gay actors in the mcu? Some people like to keep their private life private.
I was going to mention that. Tessa Thompson, for one, is bi and currently in a relationship with Janelle Monae. There may be others, but do we need to know?
Another matter is the relative lack of LGBTQ actors on Game of Thrones. Harrington definitely avoided criticizing his employers, who were the first he should have questioned.
Frankly, I'm more interested in seeing LGBTQ characters in the MCU. So far the franchise has shied away from including heroes of diverse orientations, which really needs to change. I hope that Feige will follow through on his promise to be more inclusive in the future.
(To be clear, I don't think that all queer characters must be played by queer actors, any more than straight characters require straight actors. That is a shortsighted perspective that would lead to fewer acting gigs for LGBTQ actors in the long run.)
Henry Cavill for either MCU Doom, MCU Cyclops or MCU Reed Richards.
I can picture him the most as Scott Summers though.
'Venom' Tracking Reports Suggest Sony Will Shatter October Box Office Record
"According to Deadline, the early tracking numbers are suggesting that Venom will open between $60 million and $70 million on the first weekend of October. If this is the case, and Venom opens anywhere in that range, it will easily become the highest-earning opening weekend in October box office history."
Welp, unless this thing crashes due to awful reviews we can say goodbye to Spidey in the MCU.

At least until October 19 when Halloween comes out...its getting pretty awesome reviews and with that being the perfect movie of the month, it deserves to slaughter (pun intended) the competition
I think he is too old for Scott. He will be late 30s by the time they reboot the films and even if Marvel goes with a veteran X-Men, I don't see them going THAT old. Late 20s to early 30s.Henry Cavill for either MCU Doom, MCU Cyclops or MCU Reed Richards.
