I just had a conversation with my best friend not long ago about this.

I took a trip back home last December and went out to this club with a couple girls I know from back home, and obviously being in college I party a lot, and I do hang out with a lot of black people out here, back home its a lot of Hispanics, and my friend was essentially getting jealous because I have urban interests - hip hop, clubbing, partying - and he felt like I was trying to distance myself from him and my good friends for this party lifestyle. And its like no, but I am into things that you aren't, things that we don't relate to each other on, and I am going to associate myself with people that I do relate to on that level. It doesn't mean I don't value my friendships with my non rap video lifestyle friends, it just means that I have interests that they don't share, and so I make friends with people that do as well.

It was rather frustrating. But that's probably off topic so um... BOOBIES!!!
