There is almost no doubt that the date scene leads directly to the Time's Square scene. The fact that Gwen and Peter notice something off in the distance and then Gwen, wearing the exact same outfit from the date (scarf and all), mouthing the whole Max thing, substantiates this.
So, we know this...
- Max's Accident
- Date Scene
- Time's Square
We can also surmise that both the elevator scene and the Aleskei chase scene (where Max gets saved) happen prior, though we're not 100% sure which is first. It does make more sense that Max is saved during the Aleskei car chase scene first, and then the elevator scene happens, which likely leads to his accident.
So, that would make it:
- Aleskei Armored Car Chase Scene
- Gwen/Max Elevator Scene
- Max's Accident
- Date Scene
- Time's Square
So the only real question we have pertaining to this is whether Aleskei/Rhino is one longer scene, or two scenes. For it to be one scene he would need to be pulled from the armored car, shoot at Spidey, get webbed and embarrased, get free from the web somehow, get to the mech, and create mayham.
The two scene scenerio, which seems to make a little more sense, would have his scene stop after Spidey webs him and embarrases him. He would likely end up in Ravenscroft. Then later in the movie he would need to escape, or be freed, and then get to the mech and start the second scene of mayham.
So, can we use the pictures to determine if it's one scene or two?
So, with the shot of the Rhino Mech and Spidey using the man hole cover, is that Oscorp in the background?
Got to admit, the one thing that bugs me is the scene where Max is at home with all of the pics of Spiderman on his wall. Assuming this fascination happened after he met Spiderman (Spidey saved his life), then the timing does become difficult.
We know the Gwen/Max elevator scene happens prior to his accident, which likely happens after the armored car chase scene, so when would this at home scene happen?...
