When she comes out of the taxi it's a bit too dark for me to see anything. When she is looking at the "I love you" bridge there is some yellow on her lapel. I believe it's a flower, like a dafodil.
Off topic: Squirrel: Doesn't it seem like they are hiding from someone in that room or closet with the shadows from the shades? The dialogue is interesting. Something like this:
Peter: "I didn't get love like last night, I got more of a want to kill me vibe".
Gwen: "That's kind of like what it's like to go out with you".
My speculation is that maybe they are at Oscorp hiding from a cleaning guy, or someone? I think she's wearing the pinkish (apricot?) jacket, shown below:
Maybe they are at home and they're trying to keep mom from hearing...
Also, can anyone make out what it says on that yellow piece of paper that Peter pins to that board in his room?
In addition, that one scene (at time 1:41) makes it seem like Gwen will actually go to visit Oxford. The editing is such where I can't be sure though. If she goes, then it must be during the time between the Chinatown breakup (that's pure speculation) and the Market Date scene, which most now believes to be many months (almost a year) later. Guess it would make sense that Gwen would visit Oxford before making the decision to go. Also that scene almost makes it seem like Peter is there with her as she looks back at someone and then has the "we were just going in different ways, I don't know, I gotta go" dialogue with Peter (in obviously the same room). Does anyone have any speculation if this is Oxford or somewhere else?
Actually, just watched again and she says "I have to go to England Peter. It's important to me." Again, this seems to be in that same room, with the Brittish flag. Is there some sort of Oxford related building in New York?
Another question... What is that on Emma's phone that she shows Peter at graduation? It looks like it says:
"Oscorp - Hijacker - Webbed".
If so, then it's refering to the Aleskei scene, which causes Peter to be late. Her "why didn't you just tell me" seems a bit over the top, but we'll see.
You know what...
I now wonder whether she is taking that taxi to the airport in order to go to Oxford, sees the "I love you" on the bridge, gets out of the taxi, Spidey swoops down and grabs her, they go and have their convo, which leads to Electro, Gobbie and the night Gwen Stacy died!
That's even more sad, the fact that she was so close to getting on that plane, but the actions of Spidey prevented her from getting there, all leading to her death!
