Goddamn it I don't know what's going but I can't spell simple thing.:cmad::o

Yes I meant underratted

I don't know where they could take the next Joker...

The kid friendly one has been done (Hamill), the laughing, light, insane, killer (Nicholson) and the dark, murderous, evil, crazy, funny, psychopath (Ledger).

What other ways are there to go?

There are many different ways to go. One of the greatest strengths of the Batman mythology is its propensity for reinterpretation.

A combination of the best elements of all versions of the character.

That, and supersanity.

Completely get that but how else could they do The Joker? I don't mean backstory or motivation I mean in the way he acts. Saying that I guess it depends on the Batman in the universe.

Very creepy but also very theatrical. Jack's Joker did horrific things but he never felt threatening to me. A Joker who really embraces his persona and has fun with it.

Yeah, I don't...get that.

You don't feel Jack's Joker embraced his persona and had fun with it?

I do, but it's something Heath didn't have.

I sorta say the Arkham games (espicially the ill Joker in "City") had that approach but I'd like to see a very creepy version obviously the games had to hold back a little.

Unfortuantely it will be a while till we see this, not because people will be afraid to go near the character but because I really think WB are gonna go the more kid-friendly route for the reboot.

The question is, will the next Joker be perma-white? :oldrazz:

I think he will be, btw.

If it suits the character and world then yeah. TDK's Joker non permawhite worked extremely well so I'm torn.

It might depend on how the company feels about the massacre whenever they greenlight the next film, unfortunately. It will be brought up whenever the next Batman film is mentioned in the news.

Yeah because a chemical bath doesn't leave you with white skin and green hair in Nolan's world. The next Joker's appearance is something I'm very curious about. I kinda hope they give him the exaggerated smile again.

I have a feeling it will be perma-white but his face will be greatly disfigured due to the incident, much worse than a big smile like Nicholson's I mean like -

Whatever it is I'd like to see both Batman and The Joker played by the same two people in consecutive films. Hasn't happened before in film I believe...

So a more realistic take on the chemical bath? Could be interesting but they can't make it too creepy. Eh it all depends on the direction this next set of films takes and we don't know anything about that.

If you could all keep one actor from this trilogy for the reboot... who would it be?

Bale. I know everyone hates his voice but I'm going to have a hard time accepting anyone else as Bruce Wayne and Batman.

Exactly the same for me. Nolan didn't put a foot wrong in casting IMO so this is a very tough choice. Gyllenhaal was by far the worst but that is more character problems than actor.

For me it's mainly either Bale or Hathaway. I adored Hathaway's Kyle and she fit into Nolan's Gotham beautifully.

Love to see Gary again but I also think Bryan Cranston could pull it off.

Gonna be Bale for me.

Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent. He gave great performance which was unrated and he's an great actor as well. Second is Gary Oldman.

Eckhart was just incredible as Dent. And even though his time as Two-Face was short lived, it was just an amazing transformation, IMO. From when he woke up out of his coma and found the coin that he had given to Rachel, all the way to him being tackled out of that window from Batman.

I loved how he and Bruce teased each other during the dinner scene at the beginning of TDK.

Ever since I first saw American Psycho, even though I didn't quite get it at the time, I knew that guy would be the perfect Bruce/Batman. First time watching BB I was floored by him, and his hugely underrated performance in TDK solidified it for me that he was, IMO, the best live action Batman/Bruce Wayne. I'm glad he had a final chance to prove the naysayers wrong and go out with a bang in TDKR.

Love his voice, sans the last scene with Joker in TDK, and everything else he did with the role.

Will miss his time as The Batman, but I'm glad I had a chance to experience his run.

Which reminds me, (almost) no one will ever complain about the Two-Face turn/development being too rushed ever again after seeing TDKR. :oldrazz: I never had a problem with it.
