I may be wrong here, but they didn't take the EMP itself. Lucius needed the EMP guidance mount in order to send a micro burst. The EMP was still attached to the Bat. This also explains why the Bat needed to drop way down and nearly hit the tops of the Tumblers during the Wall St. stand-off to deactivate them.

Yeah?
Yeah. :yay:

He actually brings up a valid aspect, even though it's kind of lost in the rather hyperbolic nature of his post.

Both the supporters and the skeptics of TDKR (some of them, at least) have a noticeably definitive and hyperbolic way of underlining their opinions regarding certain aspects, as well as the movie itself (almost as if they were gospel). Even though, at the end of the day, it's just their opinions. It gets quite jarring sometimes.

Yeah?

Frankly, I never really gave this aspect much consideration during my three viewings of the movie. But I do like being enlightened in such matters, so thanks.

Anna Karenina is at #4 so I don't know how much I trust that list. :hehe:

I love this film, but to be frank, when it comes to arguing opinions on the movie...sometimes its like pissing in an ocean of piss.

Yeah I'm quite frankly sick and tired of all the arguments and debates. It's quite frustrating and has made me just want to stop reading anything to do with the film anymore.

I as well. Nice to still see praise for TDKR. Makes me happy as a fan of the film and Nolan's trilogy as a whole.

Side note: I didn't bring the link up to further any debates; just thought people would have wanted to see that TDKR made a list of 'Best Films' and made such a high place on a list as well.

I think its #10 on peter traver's top 10 too. That was nice to see.

Indeed it is.

I don't know what to think of Life of Pi(I'd probably switch that with The Hobbit, but I'm only saying that without having seen either of those two films), but the list looks legit.

1. The Master
2. Zero Dark Thirty
3. Beasts of the Southern Wild
4. Lincoln
5. Argo
6. Silver Linings Playbook
7. Les Miserables
8. Life of Pi
9. Moonrise Kingdom
10. The Dark Knight Rises

Lovely to see actual critics enjoy TDKR :woot:

To defend the list...I saw Cloud Atlas and it felt like Avatar 2.0.
