Oh and I wasn't sure if I posted it here specifically but here's something I made.

But how did she do it? I mean, Batman can glide off of a rooftop, but Catwoman doesn't have a cape. Is she hanging off the side of the building hoping he'll hurry up and leave?

LOL! The mental image of that is hilarious.

Sucks that you didn't enjoyed it, I very much did.

It's just not a classy reaction, not very Batman (to me). The voice has eroded to the point that even people like me who loved it in Begins can no longer tolerate it, and it's being used to deliver a super obvious, corny line to state something that would have been far more poetically and appropriately expressed with silence and some dramatic camera work.

Also I guess im the only one here who loves Batman: Year One. :csad:
No way, Year One is awesome. My only major complaint is Miller's Catwoman lol

One thing I wish they brought from Year One into Begins (which I hope we'll see in the future) was the way Bruce uses make-up and wigs to disguise himself.

It was very Batman to me, at least whenever they play something comedic in the comics or on any other medium (like BTAS). It was something that the Nolan series needed imo.

Well, to be fair, I don't think its any worse than "nice coat"...

lol, what reaction are you referring to RustyCage? Please, get me up to speed!

Oh c'mon Rusty. That line worked even better than "nice coat."

It's not like Batman yells "SO THAT'S WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE?!"

:oldrazz:

"SO THATH WHATH THATH FEELTH LAAAAHK! WHERE ISH SHEE?"

aaaaaa

To be fair Bale's Batman voice has always been an issue with a lot of people. Him doing that line is no different from any other time he talks as Batman (even in Begins).

I thought it was really awkwardly performed. At least 'Nice coat' transitioned quickly (although I remember being confused by the way he flies off after saying it lol).

I wouldn't have done either though. :oldrazz: I'd just have Batman nod to the homeless guy in his coat, and the guy looks on in a mix of confused emotions.

Yeah, I'm not sure how Batman flies off after saying "nice coat" in Begins. I never thought about it until someone pointed it out to me, and then I was like

"Well... huh."

I remember the crowd reaction for "So that's what that feels like?" went over very well both times I saw the film.

The voice was much smoother and less strained/unintelligible in Begins. It's different in that way.

Rattle the cages is probably my favorite 'Batman' scene of the whole trilogy, and a lot of it is because the voice is so good there. The whole demeanor; the cape, his presence. He's even shot by the camera expertly.

haha, Batman ascending upwards almost instantly is just one of those "well, he is the batman" moments.

:o So they have low standards! :funny:

Yeah, it brought on a chuckle or two in my theater.

Rattle the cages was indeed bad ass. I think the light up scene rivals it, especially when he says "War". You just know Batman is back and in proper form.

"Beautiful, isn't?" has always been a personal favorite. Bats is just so damn creepy delivering that line.

lol!

I think the funniest crowd reaction I got from Rises was the big "WTF?" when Crane showed up. The guy behind me had no clue he was going to be in the film.

Yeah, while the voice wasn't as good for those two lines, I still love them. The voice was still good enough to make you go 'Damn...', in each case.

"War" gave me chills because of the grisly simplicity of it, and "Beautiful, isn't it?" was the moment where I was like, 'Right on, this is Batman. Intelligent; he's worked out something way above my head behind the scenes and it's unfolding before me.'
