lol, so I looked up that spoiler...is that really legit?

Anyways, I was over at Nolanfans.com and stumbled across this:

I really can't wait until something is announced about the Ultimate Collector's Edition for TDK-Trilogy.

Don't talk about the IM3 spoiler in here. I've been avoiding it, and I don't need it in here.

Oooh nice. I'll have to go over those forums again to see if there's any other goodies.

Batman's just standing around while HathCat does all the work.

So...anyone read those IM3 spoilers?

And all the talk of people saying IM3 wouldn't feel like TDKR....

Having read the junior novel, it feels exactly like Rises. Both films are essentially remakes of their first films, with the previous films history placing the heroes in a different context at the start of the films.

It just all depends on the tone of Iron Man 3. Too much comedy could kill what is ultimately the first Iron Man film that's pretty much all about Iron Man. Hell, even the first film was setting up the MCU. This one doesn't set up anything at all.

At the end of the day, Iron Man 3 is a remix of the first two films, with the events of the Avengers starting Tony in a different place in his life.

But based on the junior, I'd still give Rises a major edge, in terms of narrative and arc.

It's ok. Those guys over near Batman like to fall down on their own without anyone touching them :cwink:

Rises is a remake of....Begins ? ......What ?

I shouldn't have said remake. Just reusing the League of Shadows feels the same but it organically made sense, considering how they were set up in Begins.

Iron Man 3? Yeah, it's a remake of not only the first film but Lethal Weapon as well.

Ah ok.

I havent seen Iron Man 1 since i saw it in theaters , so i dont even remember it (although i enjoyed it) . I like Shane Black and lethal weapon , so it all adds up to be a cool experience.

The MOS trailer is better than any TDKR trailer. It's on par with the December TDK trailer and the first Watchmen teaser. Fincher's Dragon Tattoo teaser beats them all though.

This.

Just like that TDK trailer, the MOS trailer just makes the film look like it'll be an exciting blockbuster with some thought to it.

Nice cool image. I don't think I can get the Ultimate Collector's Edition since I already have the bluray versions of the trilogy.

Except that....
Talia doesn't hire an actor to play Bane, lol. That's the worst part...but so is the fact that the Mandarin we hear of/see of isn't a threat, and the real Mandarin is already a character from the comics(Aldrich Killian).

Pretty good read and I agree with the article for sure...people are sure to forget that Gordon wasn't the first Commissioner to make a mistake such as getting the entire police force in one area(*cough*Batman Begins*cough*).

I'll always call BS on that one. Alfred HAS walked out on Bruce in the comics:

^^ And that is why Alfred is so awesome. He's his own person with his own principals, not just Bruce's blindly loyal servant. There is such a thing as tough love, after all.

Give him a break. Bats is "resetting" for his next attack. Dude's not in his prime anymore. :cwink:

Did you buy the first Trilogy boxset from last Christmas? I already own TDK and BB both on DVD and Blu Ray, and bought the steelbook for TDKR at Futureshop. I might get the Ultimate Collector's Edition if it's truly worth it.

Alfred is awesome. Even in his leaving he is teaching Bruce.
