I can understand some of the hate for tdkr because some people who are not comic fans only want to see batman kick ass and those people dont really care for bruce wayne. I care for bruce wayne so it didnt matter if he was in the suit or not.

Eh, it's really the "comic purists" who hate TDKR more than anyone else. I think plenty of comic fans were more than satisfied with it.

I doubt they'd have it in the budget to pay him. Even if he did though, it's not like it would actually be in continuity...it would be about as in continuity as the On-Star commercials were with the 89-97 movies, heh.

I wouldn't mind to see it happen just cause it would keep the flame alive for the trilogy a bit despite the cinematic reboot, and it would just amuse the hell out of me to see Liam Neeson on a CW show. But I strongly doubt it has a real chance of happening.

Seems like Neeson was just being polite and expressing his fondness for the role when asked if CW had contacted him (they haven't). Later he gives some advice to whomever will play Ra's.
