Yea there is. If you were only going to get one Forza or one racing game DEFINITELY get Forza Horizon 2. Not only does it look incredible, it builds on a supremely fantastic base set by the first Forza Horizon. The whole music and car festival scenario it plays off of is just really really cool. The first one does a great job to immerse you in that culture. I personally cant wait for Horizon 2.

will you be able to customize your cars in Horizon 2?

I think I might wait till early October at least, then I can pick up Dragon Age, Forza, and Diablo 3, with WWE 2K15 coming out later in the month.

however, if I get an X1 then, then the question becomes......should I just wait till BF/XMAS............

right now, though, I look at the games that are out and nothing really interests me. the only X1 game that I really want to play right now is Killer Instinct.

Yep. I don't think the customization is as deep in Horizon 2 as it is in Forza 5, meaning you want be tuning your camber angle or setting you gear ratio but things like custom paint and vinyl's, different body kits, performance kits and wheels will all be available.

I'm not a car junkie, so anything too deep ( like camber angles and gear ratios ) will just go over my head.........lol.

Yea Horizon is really the more 'casual' series in the franchise, but honestly, as a sim racer elitist myself, i prefer the Horizon series. It's the whole open world/music & car festival setting that I really dig. Horizon 2 looks great so far.

sounds like I'd prob like Horizon more.

if music's involved, it would be nice if you could play your own custom music in the background.

maybe mp3 and media support will be added in time for Horizon 2.

but, do you think it's also possible it will have the "better" memory that the PS4 has?

Id doubt it. A 'slim' model with bigger storage is a certainty at some point, but anything outside of that I wouldn't expect.

If you don't mind waiting another year or 2, then just go for the slim model whenever thats released. If there is nothing you really want on the system, which seems to be the case, why spend the money now?

One of the reason I was able to wait on the PS4, was because there wasn't anything for the console that really grabbed me that I couldnt get on the X1(and because I was broke, haha, but thats neither here nor there). Once MLB 2014 came out though, I knew that was a game I really wanted so I made the plunge then. Had that game not of been out or not of been a Sony exclusive, I prob could of waited until Uncharted came out.

So if theres nothing really grabbing you with the X1, don't spend the money.

I just assume we'll keep getting arcade games till the library for the XB1 grows which I'm ok with cause they're all worth 1000 gs now. I can see NBA live 14 being the only full game they give away seeing how you can pick it up for 10 bucks now

hmmm......that is.......true.

I think what will also sway me is if the X1 keeps adding features that I want ( and if the PS4 is slower to add those ).

Yea I don't have an issue either, but I'm not moving it around and I have the space for it. If I was moving it from tv to TV or I if i didn't have much space for it it'd be a big pain

I have a feeling that I'm either getting it this holiday season or next year the latest.

now, if MS comes out and announces their September update will include mp3/mp4/media support, then that might be the motivator for me to get it sooner.

Has anybody heard what the new games for gold will be next month for both 360 and X1?

I've been enjoying Battle Block Theater on the 360, and I just started getting into Max, which is kinda fun, actually. I still need to play Guacamelee.
