According to that IGN video Microsoft isn't going to be showing too many games in the reveal and saving most for E3. I think it's too soon for Halo 5 but I could see a Gears maybe being shown at E3 or something.

I'm pretty sure they won't be making a Halo game for a very long time, if not ever, since they are currently working on Destiny.

Bungie doesn't make Halo anymore. They didn't make Halo 4.

Yeah as Matt said, Bungie are working on Destiny & 343 are working on future Halo games. Halo 5 & 6 were announced at the same time as 4. They're being made, just a question of when they will come out. I expect 2014 (maybe late) for Halo 5.

I think Microsoft waiting till E3 to show off most of the games that will be coming to the new Xbox was a good move. Sony shouldn't have much to show at E3 game wise that we didn't already know about since they showed a lot of their games already.

There was no Halo release in '08. They were still riding Halo 3. I think they'll do the same with Halo 4. Unless a spin-off title like Halo Wars 2 or an ODST type game or even Halo 2 Anniversary comes out, I don't think we'll get a Halo in 2014

Halo Wars came out at the turn of '09. It was originally planned to come out Q4 of 08 though.

Oh, I don't think it'll be Halo 5. I've honestly been hoping that they release a "game" that is just every single multiplayer map, exactly as they were (****** graphics and all down to Halo 4) that you boot up and play Halo 4 multiplayer on. I'd pay $40 for that.

Alan Wake 2 & a real Banjo-Kazooie sequel would be awesome launch titles. I don't see Halo 5 happening until 2015 & a new Gears until 2016, so those two are out of the question.
I think a Killer Instinct revival is going to happen soon, MS recently settled some legal issues with the game's name, so thy definitely want to do something with it.

This has a slim chance of happening but I think Goldeneye could be a launch title for this console's XBLA. I heard Activision lost the rights to James Bond recently, so it'd make sense for MS to snatch the license to cash-in on the uber nostalgia for Goldeneye.

I'd be so f'n excited for a new Killer Instinct game,It was my favorite fighting game series after MK..But I loved them both equally,MK is still my favorite fighting game franchise and so it'd be just awesome IF KI returned!
