I don't think that WB will want the word "end" anywhere in the title. Although it's supposed to be a conclusion to Nolan's story, there's no way that WB will stop Batman films with this, so the word "end" would be very misleading.

Most of the recycled titles on here su**. Gotham is dumb. Gotham Knights is dumb as are all titles and most storylines on 90's Batman books. Knights End?? The Caped Crusader is cheesy. Gotham Legend sounds incredibly dull. Batman: Exemplar, Batman: Infinite, Batman: Ass etc etc. all sound ridiculous. "Batman" is boring. etc. etc. Stop already!!

I can't really come up with a title because I don't know what the movie is about. 'Batman Begins' obviously is the beginning of Batman. 'The Dark Knight' references Batman having to become darker and push things to the edge in his fight against a new type of criminal. So I reckon the title to the next movie would reference the theme of the film, and since I don't yet know that, can't say that 1 name is better than another.

I do like 'Shadow of the Bat.' It's kind of ambiguous but implies something either dark or mysterious.

If you look at the first post in this thread, you'll see this thread was started in late 2009, and common sense dictates that people were posting names long before the end of last year. Basically, this isn't the first title thread - merely a continuation of one that began way back in 2008.

If J. Custer is fed up of people suggesting titles for the third Batman movie; that's fine, it's his opinion, he's entitled to it, he can quite easily just ignore the thread with the clue in the title of what it's about.

However, he then felt the need to go into said thread and put the time and effort into posting crap about how he is fed up of people posting suggestions for the title of the third Batman movie. Where is the logic in that?

Well, I guess I'm far off my rocker, but I like The Caped Crusader. It's been long enough since Adam West, the 70's, or the 80's to reference The Caped Crusader as being cheesy, but that's just me.

I would also welcome Shadow of the Bat, The Batman, The Dark Knight Returns, Fear The Knight, or Gotham City, whatever. As long as we get a great film.

I'm sure it will be neither of those, carry on, LOL.....

It's not a tradition if it only happened once before. I don't think they named it Batman BECAUSE it's been 23 years, and they shouldn't now.

Batman's too simple, in my opinion. I mean, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, then just Batman? It wouldn't work well. Shadow of the Bat is my personal fave, but it probably won't happen. I'm expecting something like 'Gotham Dawn'.
