I'm just going to sit back and wait for news of the writer's strike being over, and to see what the new writer have in store for Spider-Man 4. I feel better now.

See, that's the way it's got to be done.

Is there any write up LINK. I thought Spielberg and George Clooney was going to help settle this, are they involved?

That's all good and dandy if the strike end by week end, but the pending Actors Strike is yet another issue to contend with.

What Actors' Strike, come on, actors are the most over-paid human beings on the planet?

What I had heard was that if the writer's strike doesn't end soon, the actors will strike as well to support them.
I didn't hear that, but do the actors actually want more money, or is it just for support to help end the writer's strike?

The writers have (unofficially) made their deal with the producers. The strike is, for all intents and purposes, over and consequently there will be no SAG strike.

Writing can start as early as this week, once the new deal is announced and the strike is officially ended. Filming, on the other hand, can take up to a few weeks before starting/resuming.

But SM4's writer can go to work on the script at this very moment, right?

I'm getting greedy. :O

This defenitley is great news! Now Spidey4 is being made and the ball is officially rolling. :spidey::up:

Whenever the deal is announced and the WGA officially calls off the strike, which should be sometime this week.

The only villains I think are worthy of screentime are: Lizard, Kraven, Mysterio, Scorpion, and cameo villains like Shocker and Rhino. Electro and Chameleon to me are alot like Sandman (thugs who can shape-shift.)

:indy:

I wouldn't, put, Electro and Chameleon in the sam category as sandman

ok, I kinda get were you might think the shape-shifting verison of Chameleon, but, even thats a bit of a stretch

he changes his appearce to look like others, its not like he can turn his fist into a hammer, or can turn in to a 50 foot sand monster

and character wise, he is very different, anyway

Electro, ya, sure he's another, controls an element, type villain (electricity instead of sand) ok
but, still
there's a difference

Down the road like a few years with a new cast, director, crew I'd bring those two in but as of now the villains I listed to me are worthy of screentime. I don't want to disable any chances for these two villains because it's really up to Vanderbilt to decide but I really do want Lizard, Kraven, Vulture, Scorpion, Mysterio, and cameos by Rhino and Shocker.

I'm not sure yet about this writer...
but he said he'd focus more in the characters than in the special effects, and we'd have two villains.
well...this is a good thing, considering the lack of development of the villains in Spidey 3 and story full of new characters.
I just hope it has more action.
