Do you guys ever wanna see the white eyes on cinematic Batman?

I don't need it honestly, though I love how Black Panther and Deadpool look. Batman's eyes on film have just been so important in my opinion and help add to not only Batman's darkness but his humanity (when done right anyway). One thing Bale and Keaton's Batman have in common is their awesome way of telling you what Batman is thinking just with their eyes. There were moments where they would just look at people and listen that I thought were mesmerizing (Batman looking at Penguin in Returns and Batman staring at Joker in TDK are two big examples of this). It's the biggest reason (performance wise) why I wouldn't put Affleck's Batman over either of them. He was pretty inconsistent in my opinion with that. Too many moments in the movie where he stopped looking like Batman to me and looked like Affleck looking through a bat suit. (Batman in the cell at the end being a big example). On that note, maybe lenses would be a good fit for him. I thought he looked a little more intimidating in the mech suit because I couldn't see his eyes.

I still like seeing the actors eyes when they portray Batman. Imagine Bale and Keaton having white eyes whenever they suited up. It just wouldn't be the same.

Yep, you beat me too it.

Same when he got the autopilot working on The Bat in TDKR.
I think that's Nolan Bruce right there. He pretends to be uninterested about tech stuff, and running his business, but deep down he really cares. His message to Rachel in BB saying there's more to his personality always struck a chord with me

Nah bruh, that's unrealistic.
Let Marvel keep their funny unrealistic stuff based on funny books about people in tights.

:oldrazz:

So apparently Dafoe and JK Simmons are both in JL Part One. It seems WB/Snyder are continuing their ongoing record of hiring as many A-list actors as possible. That mentality is one of the factors that led to BvS' demise. They had way too much overconfidence in the nolvety aspect to focus on telling a good story.

Have to agree with MovieBob. At this point JL feels like a threat than something to be excited for.

Can't wait to see Dafoe neutered under Snyder's 'direction'.

Eisenberg's performance was definitely what I most disliked about the film. Every time he was on screen I kept thinking "Please move on to the next scene"

So GG and JJ from the Raimi films.
Next they should hire James Franco.

^ LMAO :lmao:

R.I.P. at least half of the arguments used to defend Batfleck killing.

There are defenses for that already: that Robin only uses it for disarming weapons.

Um, it's a spear. It might have a secondary function of disarming people, but it's made for killing.

So...how are any villains still standing?

In a nutshell, this Bruce took a young kid into his home and taught him to murder criminals. Not just with head shots. But brutally murder them. This is worse than Keaton's already.

Which tells us first hand that this Batman has been a killer since day one.

Thanks Snyder. Now that this is canon, Affleck will probably do a prequel with a Batman and Robin that roam the night looking for criminals to slaughter...because....VENGEANCE!!

And i'm pretty f'n sure it's Dick Grayson. I don't think it's a mistake that a tombstone said Richard Grayson on the set. If that pic was legit, it's probably in the ultimate cut or something.

The backlash this universe and Batman will get from fans when they see Justice League and solo Batman will be enormous, once they see him killing again.

Someone posted this. Could be b.s. Not sure when it dropped, because the DaFoe news came out today.

If true, i guess Bardem is being looked at for Darkseid? Im definitely down with that. Unfortunately, a good cast like this probably won't save it. It also seems hella crowded if true.

It states that Justice League 2 might not be directed by Snyder if JL receives critical backlash like BVS.
JL will include Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, J.K. Simmons, Jena Malone, Jeremy Irons, Connie Nielsen, Viola Davis, Diane Lane, Joe Morton and Harry Lennix
Amber Heard, Alona Tal, Imogen Poots, James Remar, Alfred Molina and Ed Harris are cast as (in the same order) Mera, Black Canary, Iris West, Darryl Frye, Thomas Morrow and General Wade Eiling.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Tessa Thompson are in negotiations to play Sarah Charles.
Javier Bardem, Jackie Earle Haley, Frances McDormand, Joel Edgerton, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy and Willem Dafoe have also been approached and/or are in discussions for undisclosed roles.
Aquaman will feature Ocean Master and the Trench. Black Manta will not be in this film, or current isn't in the film.
The Flash will feature Reverse Flash but has a twist unlike it's TV counter-part.
Shawn Levy (Real Steel) is the front runner to direct Shazam. Will include Black Adam.
Matt Reeves (Dawn of the Plant of the Apes), Duncan Jones (Moon) and Rian Johnson (Star Wars Ep. 8) have been approached about Green Lantern Corps. No villain has been chosen as of yet. Will include both Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
Cyborg is on the back burner until JL provides feeback on the public's reception of Cyborg. If it happens, it will have a black director. No villain has been chosen yet.
Ben Affleck is going to direct the Batman film. He has been writing it and will include Jared Leto as the Joker.
Suicide Squad 2 is going to happen in 2018 or 2019.
Wonder Woman will include Ares and Circe.
Doomsday will return.
George Miller is producing JL, but hasn't decided to direct a DC film.
Dark Universe is currently dead.
Blue and Gold is an infant project, won't come out earlier than 2019.
3 films have started early development. These films are Deathstroke, Birds of Prey and Legion of Superheroes.

That's a lot of A-List talent.....only to be wasted in a mess of a film like what JL is shaping up to be.

I don't buy that post though. That's way too much info to be released right now.

Forget Keaton, this Batman is worse than ASBAR Batman.

Just imagine a Zack Snyder take on the Flash
"Flash already killed Eobard Thawne, no one gives a thought about it, and then Eobard Thawne returns, and says: "Barry, I know you killed me in the past, you killed future me, and for that, I'm going to kill you."
The movie is 2 hours of Thawne trying to kill Barry and vice-versa, both failing miserably, and then Eobard Thawne tries to flirt with Iris West 30 minutes of screen time, and she's annoyed at how perverted he is.
Last 15 minutes Barry is angry that Thawne killed Iris, and that is why he kills him a second time, but because he killed future Thawne in the past, and he kills past Thawne in the present, no time paradox occurs, what happened happened, Barry mourns Iris for a minute, then we see him smile again and breaks Captain Boomerang's toys, handing him to cops, with all the destruction surrounding them.
