The Dark Knight Rises You Have My Permission To Lounge - Part 4

It's a little reminiscent of the DCAU with BTAS coming before STAS and the JL shows.

I dig it in that regard I guess.

He is only old in terms of statistic. Physically he is still a 25 year old abusing steroids. He could get thrown through buildings by Supes, then fight a room full of goons ten minutes later, and then evade Doomsday ten minutes after that.

To put it into terms everyone here can understand, Affleck's Bruce is a HUNKA HUNKA

So many kids are going to grow up thinking Batman is the dark but older superhero who is extremely violent.

I still think it's weird that they decided to go with a middle aged violent Bruce to be the one who represents the DCEU and their dozen + films.

With any luck the awfulness that is Batfleck will pass over like Garfield's Spider-Man.

ben is honestly the last thing that is wrong about this universe even with him murdering like 10 dudes in bvs.

he's a guy you hope will stay for the long haul. but if they decide to blow it up and start over, ok I guess thats fine too.

Indeedy, ol' Chip. Loved Fleck's mid credits scene in SS. How he warned Waller at the end of the conversation. Having the last word and morphing into the Batman persona briefly. Fingers crossed he has another brief cameo in Wonder Woman, really setting up the events of JL. Perhaps him telling Diana after studying Waller's records, he knows the location of a couple meta humans. And he's now going to meet them.

Current animation and game lines -sans LEGO- aren't helping with taking that image away.

I checked reviews for the Telltale game, and what I saw just makes me glad I don't care for Telltale games, and that we have the detective CSI structure presented in Batman: Arkham Origins.

I love the Telltale games. I am looking forward to trying their take on Batman. What did you just see that was so bad, Aziz?

i had a lot of fun with Telltale Batman

went full Zack Snyder Batman and it never felt so liberating.

For their Batman game, less control than any of their other games.

it actually convinced me to purchase The Wolf Among Us which is great so far

My youngest brother loves these games.
I'm not into that sort of gameplay.

Me too. They are great at capturing the spirit of the source material, from Back to the Future to Game of Thrones.

Cavill and Amy Adams looked like vampires in that interrogation room scene

everything in that movie looked so dreary, hopefully JL embraces color a little more. Quite the nitpick, I know.

..or zombies. Depending on how you look at it.

And yeah, JLA looks like Snyder is embracing (or somebody forced him to) teh colourz. And it looks like it's his first digitally shot picture.

So Kevin Conroy says he prefers a Batman who doesn't kill... and suddenly the fan community goes ape-**** on him!?

Seriously, the man is entitled to his opinion. I even saw a few gay slurs... disgusting.

Snyder fanboys at their best. I have huge respect for Conroy speaking out against BvS for that.

Where are people turning on Conroy? I'd like to see this because that is shameful. You don't disrespect the voice of God.

He didn't even say anything bad about Ben's portrayal, just something that most fans have been bothered with from the start, including myself.

Gay slurs? Gotta say, this isn't specific to Snyder/insert person-fans. It's just the internet.

I wonder what he thinks of Batman having sex with Barbara on a roof top, though.

I'd take Thor 2 over both MoS and BvS (the latter by a country mile). It wasn't a classic, but it was a fine popcorn flick with a couple of good performances from Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston in the lead roles.

I would also take a generic popcorn flick over watching something that feels like a literal chore to sit through. a 2 and a half hour chore, that is.

Conroy is gay.

Based on his comments some have been calling him all sorts on various message boards, etc. I don't even want to know what they are tweeting to him.

thats cool man, not every movie can be as memorable than man of steel. For the most part though, man of steel is not memorable for any of the right reasons.

on the bright side though, it is by far the most highly acclaimed DCEU movie thus far, so its got that going for it.

Oh, I didn't know he was gay. Or I forgot. Anyhow... he's the last person who deserves threats.
