TDK remains my best experience in the cinema to this day.
I hadn't followed any of the marketing, hadn't seen BB even, before going to see TDK, so I was utterly blown away. It rekindled my passion for Batman and sold me on Nolan's take, nothing's been able to top the experience since then.
Speaking of trailers,
this is my favourite one for TDK, I love all the cues and think they work perfectly.
Edit: moved this post to the TDKR general discussion thread.
How's everybody doing? Anybody playing the Batman Telltale game?
Haven't played it myself, I'll probably wait for all the episodes to come out before doing so, but I've been following a walkthrough of it on youtube and I'm really, really enjoying their story and take so far.
The changes they've made to the mythos have worked very well imo and contributed to a fresh and compelling take on the Batman story. I also really enjoy the onus placed on playing as Bruce, as well as on all the choices you make.
The Catwoman romance subplot has played out very organically as well and I couldn't help but get shades of their relationship in TDKR with one of Bruce's lines, something along the lines of 'There's more to you than that'.
Looking forward to seeing how the story pans out.
