Once I saw the music playing and the shower scene, I came to the conclusion that it is a movie that requires commentary, I turned it off cause I was not ready to start mine yet.

I never thought BvS looked better. It always looked like a mess. Even the trailers couldn't hide it. Shoving Batman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and Doomsday into what should have been MOS 2 just reeked of desperation to catch up with the MCU.

Even prior to the trailers. When they announced all these characters were being put into it. Red flashing warning signals went off. They were not slowly building up their universe like the MCU did.

Literally the only time I was truly hopeful for BvS was that long SDCC trailer. That movie looked like it could have been good to me. Beyond that...

I was really excited, my most anticipated movie of 2015, then they delayed it and I was annoyed.

I should've guessed something was wrong with Perry White talking down to Clark Kent about Batman, Martha Kent saying "you don't owe them anything", and the "We have destroy him" bit.

I wonder at what point does WB consider their DCU a failure? Has it been? Critically its taken it on the nose. What have their box office returns been? It seems that they just keep continuing with whatever....'strategic' plan they have mapped out for the next so many years. I wonder what it would take for them to abandon ship?

The new Logan trailer is pretty fantastic. I love the fact that the X-Men have become legends via comic books in-universe. That's something I always kind of imagined could happen in the distant future of the Nolanverse, since it clearly exists in a world where there is no precedent for superheroes and superhero comics don't exist. As opposed to say Raimi's Spider-Man universe, where Aunt May references Peter's comics collection.

Logan looks incredible. I just hope the final act isn't bad.

I'm not excited for all of them. But this is a pretty crazy year for comic book movies. Logan, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Justice League, Lego Batman.

I only saw the new trailer this morning. It was sublime. Actually felt sad watching it knowing it's the last time we'll see Jackman in the role, and with Patrick Stewart. Been watching these guys since 2000.

I'm happy with it as the longest running comic book franchise, on film and TV.
I want this movie to be great, it will be a great send-off for a legendary actor, and for the main star of this series.
