Folks still saying BVS was ''too deep'' for the audience.

It's deep alright, as deep as the sewers Spider-Man crawled in in 'Night of the Lizard'.

BvS is about as deep as a puddle in the Sahara desert.

It's funny. Instead of sobering on their view of the movie with time, they've dug themselves deeper in their delusion.

Sometimes I wonder if those folks even watch movies outside of the comic or action genre.

People in the JL section think that Superman taking Doomsay into space is "great character development" so what do you expect.
It is a tactical upgrade compared to Superman taking Zod to break the Wayne Satellite, it didn't force Bruce Wayne to take another helicopter ride to the site of crash without protective gear.

Just lol at the mental gymnastics being performed by the DCEU hopeful pretending like nothing is actually wrong.

Matt Reeves expressed interest, which means it's already a done deal to them.

the pure delusion

they'd be lucky to convince someone like reeves to take this on

don't do it matt, give me my cloverfield sequel instead

Last week we were fear mongering trolls for stoking something that's clearly non-existent. Ben was a surefire thing to direct.

This week they knew it all along that Ben wasn't gonna direct. It's difficult to direct people in the batsuit after all. Plus, all the world's directors have been lining up begging to direct it. We'll get a genius to make this thing in no time.

Ahhhh this is hilarious.

This could be the best thing for the movie if they get someone like Matt Reeves. But will a good director even want to get involved at this point? That's the sad part. WB must be so worried. Stupid idiots.

This means Leto might be collaborating with someone who isn't a hot head. Shame. Would have loved an on set Bale sized meltdown from Ben, just cussing out Jared for being a weirdo.

Knowing the DCEU this is going to be a disaster. Some crappy director or a good one working with a bad script. Or an unknown director and then WB screw with the final cut. Which leads to an extended cut on Blu Ray. Good times.

Nolan, are you out there? Wanna come back?

The defenders are now downplaying the role of directing. "But Affleck is still writing and producing the movie. Everything's just dandy".

No matter how many red flags you put in front of some people, they refuse to see them.

I've seen it with films like Catwoman, Dragonball Evolution, Fant4stic, and far more.

Well. they've still managed to keep James Wan hostage around.

Poor guy.

Affleck stepping away is probably indicative of the production's quality, or lack thereof. This is bad news, but I do have to give Affleck kudos for sticking to his guns and not attaching himself to something that is beneath his standards. It's gonna make him starring in it pretty awkward though.

DCEU fans like that Dido song.

I will go down with this ship
And I won't put my hands up and surrender
There will be no white flag above my door
I'm in love and always will be.

:funny:

Affleck said he wouldn't direct if the script wasn't good enough. Is he secretly admitting that the script is not that great? :funny:

I'm rooting for snyder to direct this the same way I was hoping that Roman Reigns would be #30 in that god awful royal rumble

Because if don't laugh, I'll probably cry. Lol.
