comic book movie petitions are dumb and almost never achieve a single thing yet I encourage you all to sign this

it would bring great joy to my heart to see this come to fruition

I wouldn't bother, chances of him getting the job are pretty high at the moment.
And I wouldn't give them the permission to spam my inbox.

Pipe down, haters. Hear me out here. Snyder has a stellar record with comic book and graphic novel properties. Starting with 2006's 300, and followed by Watchmen in 2009, he has shown his skill with, and commitment to, being incredibly faithful to iconic source material.
I'm sorry, but no.

Is it the same Egyptian prince that made the last DC petition?

According to this creature, DC getting bad reviews is the biggest issue plaguing mother earth today.

they should be glad that some people are being respectful enough to keep their DCEU complaints out of the main threads. Because god forbid anyone takes an opportunity to vent their frustrations in a place where like minded people will be able to have a conversation and not worry about getting reported or temp banned by someone who is more than eager to oblige.

Nothing is ever good enough. They can quote me too if they want, don't really care at this point.

In my eyes, this place was less about keeping our opinions secret and more about not bringing the JL threads down with the same old diatribe. But its clear now that the real desire of some is for posters here to just keep their negative opinions on something with an overall negative perception to themselves altogether.

They spend too much time worrying about what other people are saying about the DCEU movies and about themselves as Snyder fanboys. Every perceived slight against the DCEU becomes a moment of indignation for them.

The IMDB forums are shutting down. Can't say I feel anything. Most of it was troll central anyways.

A bit random, but you know what really bugs me about TDKR? Why is there no muzzle flash from the guns when people are firing them?

Like seriously it's a pretty bad error. The worse scene is when Bane's goons attack the stock exchange; it looks like their just jerking their guns while sparks happen in the distance.

Oh yeah. Nolan's handling of guns in general (but particularly in TDKR) is awful. People talk about his weakness being hand to hand combat. IMO his biggest weakness is guns. All of his gunfights in Insomnia, TDK, Inception and Rises are just terrible.

There goes hope of Christopher Nolan making a James Bond film.

Check page 4 in the sticky thread on community boards, two of them said it.

Never had a problem with his use of guns in Inception. Or guns in any of his movies.

Most handguns don't have much of a muzzle flare in real life. In movies, they use special blanks to produce them if the director wants.

Best decision they ever made. Their forums are a haven for spammers and trolls with no moderation anywhere.

I dare someone to start a "Please keep Zack Snyder away from The Batman movie" petition and see how many more likes it gets. :hehe:

We know this sounds like a radical proposal, considering Zack Snyder has directed such classics as Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Then again, this is not so radical a proposal, considering Zack Snyder directed Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. While those films were commercially viable, both underperformed compared to the potential of the characters in the current superhero movie landscape. It's true that people will probably go to see even a terrible Batman movie, but that's no excuse to make one when there are better options.
I'm waiting for a real fan to read this and weep.

There's nothing wrong with how Nolan handles guns. This is a new silly complaint.
