Well someone tell Jesse Eisenberg that...

Lol even Egghead seemed more menacing and smarter than Eisen Lex. Vincent Price was awesome.

He merely adopted the Stache.

Why does the TDK suit Look so much better in Rises than in Knight?

I think they slightly changed the neck part as well, so it doesn't have as much of a bobble head effect.

Hemming talked about it around release-- They made the neck thicker, and slimmed down the back and sides of the cowl. Plus Bale had a few extra kilos on him.

TDK is on TV today... it is such an expertly crafted film. It could be a long time before we see anything on its level again.

Just makes the current state of DC films all the more depressing.

I'm going to watch TDK tonight (for the 12 millionth time) with my wife, as per her suggestion.

Honestly very lucky to be with a woman who supports my passions and (thanks to me) shares most of my interests in terms of film and TV. She's always down for whatever and will unbegrudgingly watch anything genre-related that I come up with or need to see -- although she does draw the line at things like DTV animated movies, which I wouldn't really want to watch with her anyway.

But I'd say she's now a fan of CBMs in the sense that she actively anticipates them, enjoys them, comes with me to every movie, and even will wear some Batman gear. It was her idea to have Batman/Catwoman things on display at our wedding. (Side-note: Our wedding DJ company followed me on Instagram prior to our wedding, saw that I am a Batman fan, and surprised us that night at one point by projecting Batman/Catwoman logos and shapes everywhere along with the lighting effects.)

I'm just glad my life hasn't been taken over by romantic comedies and ****** TV shows. Don't know if I'd make it.

It does look much better in TDKR for the most part, but there a still a few wonky moments. Just like in TDK, it didn't look that great overall, but there are a few moments where the suit looked really great or perfect.

It's weird how this has been the case for pretty much every single Batman film.

Bat-suits in general are just really hard to do apparently. There's never been one that approached a level of near-universal regard as the one as close to perfection as you can do live action. Part of that is probably the fact that we still haven't moved on from rubber. The body suit in BVS was getting there, but it was still underlaid with rubber musculature and the cowl was this thick thing that looked like it was swallowing Affleck's face. And then they had to go full Schumacher in JL, which was not at all helped by the brightened color correction in post. It looked cheap. Say what you want about the TDK suit, but it looked like a functioning suit of high-tech armor. And it was the first to incorporate cloth.

I've never really had a problem with the suits. Most of them are fine by me. The only ones i didn't care for was Clooney's and the one Affleck wears at the end of Justice League. The rest are good.

What do you guys want the new suit to look like in the Reeves movie?

a sleeker version of the BvS suit would be cool. thinner neck, perhaps something that resembles the underwear, like the nite owl suit. also, I'd like to see the cowl slide off like on the nite owl suit as well.

perhaps a cowl that drapes over the suit too.

The arkham suit and model looks so freakishly ridiculous.

Batman Begins is the best overall. They buffed the neck way too much, but it's an amazing suit.

Other than that - B89, BR, slimmer BvS, improved TDK from TDKR - the ones I like too for various reasons.

Gonna watch BB, TDK and TDKR in one sit when the the UHD set arrives. I can't freaking wait.

The Batman Returns suit will always be one of my favorites... the cowl was stunning and had a Neal Adams flavour about it.
