How well does the trailers' humor reflect the actual movies? I was pretty cold to what I saw in the trailers, though the plot looks like fun and Deadpool's got a cool origin/costume.

I only watched one trailer so can't really say for sure. There's all different kinds of humour.

The humor works way better in the context of the full movie. I thought the trailers were childish and cringe-worthy, but I ended up liking the movie.

Highly recommend checking out the latest Fatman on Batman. David Dastmalchian who played Thomas Schiff in TDK is the special guest with behind the scenes stories about his TDK filming experience. Seems like a really cool guy.

I had to stop listening to Fatman on Batman, cause they stopped focusing on Batman, and moved on to all comic news for TV and movies. I would probably still listen, but they just openly talk about spoilers to TV shows that I may be 1-2 episodes behind, or movies I'm trying to avoid spoilers for, and it just got annoying trying to fast forward multiple times an episode.

I just wish he kept it Batman-centric.

I agree, it turned into too much of an all-around geek show. With David they at least split it up into two episodes, one to talk about his TDK experience and the next one will be about Ant-Man, so the above episode is mostly Batman talk.

Great interview, it's so nice to feel all that passion from a bonafide fan getting to be part of that movie.

That was awesome. Especially his stories about working with Heath and how cool and friendly he was to him. Telling him he's having the time of his life playing Joker, teaching him how to use the rifle for the funeral scene, offering him a place to stay when he's over in London etc. Heath sounds like he was a real gent to work with.

In the absence of Heath himself now, hearing these stories about him on the TDK set are always extra special.

Yeah, those types of stories are gold. Loved hearing about Heath. Really incredible for David him to have his first experience on a movie be that.

I so wish there was more behind-the-scenes content featuring Heath for TDK.

Don't wish for that over at BOF, you'll get banned for it.

That was a cool interview. I really enjoyed his little role in TDK.

Not sure if it's wishful thinking, but hopefully for the 10th anniversary of TDK we get more behind the scenes material. If not then, then probably never.

I know we will never see it, but could you imagine seeing the footage of Bale and Eckhart cracking up during the interrogation of Schiff? lol.

And a new Blu-Ray transfer. For the love of God.

The TDK one is reportedly heavily flawed that misrepresents the theatrical presentation.

A shame we didn't get a new transfer for Begins last year for the tenth anniversary. From what I recall, that one had the worst of the three transfers.

Yes, it"s a damn shame we didn't get new transfers of BB and TDK for the collector's edition box set.

Considering Nolan is such a quality purist and so concerned with the presentation of his films, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't pushed for it himself. I know it's costly, but he does have some pull with the studio. One day, hopefully.

Man, the whole Drew McWeeny thing has really gotten fans riled up.

I can only imagine what it's going to look like on these boards if the movie gets mixed reviews.

It probably will be just like Man of Steel.

And you know what the best part will be? Just like with any highly anticipated film, if it gets higher than 80%, people will be bragging about it and pretty much be the worst. And if it gets a rotten score, people will pretend they never cared about critic reviews or RT in the first place.

Yup. So many people on the BvS boards claim "The only opinion I care about is my own" or "**** the haters", when they're some of the people who'll be keeping the closest eye on that RT rating, and a lot of them will have hurt feelings if it gets an MOS-like response.

I just want to know what the fanboy excuse will be this time. Last time, it was "The critics can't let go of Donner".

Yet they're always quick to quote critics when they can be used as a defense.

Btw what has Drew said?

I'm not even saying I think the movie will get mixed reviews, I mean truthfully I have no idea. But if it does get great reviews I just hope people will finally see that there is no critics conspiracy against DC or Snyder.

He said something new?

Nah, but the saga keeps going. The latest thing was some photoshopped fake tweet that was going around to make him look bad, which he had to address on his Twitter.

that requires rationality. There's already overwhelming evidence against that notion.

BvS extremists proving there maturity yet again.

What critics conspiracy are they talking about? It can't be against DC based movies as all three of Nolan's Batman movies did extremely well critically.
