I didnt imply to keep him there but at least monitor him or report it to the Govt. I doubt the US would let a man like that walk free after past trangressions, despite how much hes claimed to have changed.

There are obviously past records of him as Chloe pointed out and Maddie is in the system (because of her foster care)....so if they let him go free, its obvious he would go after her.... They werent really thinking at all.

Thats because the people at Belle Reve,and to some extent the entire town of Smallville, are dumb-dumbs.

I liked it.....of course I like a lot of things. I don't think Tom's acting was off in fact I thought it was very approachable and warm. It was an endearing episode. I think he did a very good job directing especially for his first attempt. All of the actors performances were pretty even and natural for the most part.

I know they didn't show any cool "Superman" effects on this one, but him flying and running really fast is only a small part of what makes Supes so special. This episode really focused on his "human" side and how much Jonathan has influenced his view on truth and justice. Maybe that's why some of you felt it was boring. I did think it was pretty funny though that poor Tom didn't have time to shave for 2/3 of the episode. I thought Supes couldn't grow facial hair.

Are you kidding? I LOVED this episode! I was blown away at how many scenes Welling was actually IN, considering he had to direct the episode too. And folks, not fer nuthin', but there's two things they tell you to avoid - kids and animals. It aint easy working with either, and Welling did both on his first outing. Compound that with the amount of FX shots in this ep.... GEEZE!!! I'm stunned. Really, I am! Bravo!!

Why am I not surprised ... Though Im certain of TW didnt direct this episode, the positive reactions to Fragile wouldnt be very positive. But whatever..no biggie.

Yes, indeed. There are a lot of fanboy theories about this suppose-it detail. I've seen so much on it. It's what I like to call the Hidden SV then again it can't be that hidden since shippers like Clex are highly up there in fanboy groups.

Why? He was put in there for robbing a bank. If Grandma didn't know she had a grandchild I'm pretty sure he didn't mention the kid to anyone else. I'm not exactly sure how Grand larseny gets you put into a mental institute, but I'm pretty sure they don't put tracking devices on first time offenders that get out on good behavior.

He was in Belle Reeve because they obviously knew he had abilities, like the other FOTWs in "Asylum."
