You're not the only one. Kaboom has both our rooms bugged, apparently.

You guys are just rude. I think she's very attractive and what does this have to do with tonight's episode again?

Nothing. Just anti-Chloeness.

Not even considering the way she looks, her attitude today with Lex was pretty annoying. I dont know why Lex bothered to take her home in the premiere after she knocked him out before.....I thought he was planning to question her, but nothing.

Man...the promos that I've been seeing this week have kicked a$$.....the episode I was forced to sit through however....not so much. :down

And yes, Clark CAN grow facial hair (he uses his heat vision to shave)...it's his head of hair that's not supposed to grow.

I thought Clark's facial hair only grows when hes away from the sun.....like on Apokalips.

Actually, he shaves every morning. Some heat vision reflected off a little piece of metal to remove the stubble....wish I had heat vision...I just have to resort to being lazy....

lol.....what can i say serene, i pick up on the small things.

so....just because chloe has had boyfriends doesnt mean she cant be "undecided." my personal take is shes just such a dominant personality, she didnt lend herself to having a significant other during the hs years.....although there was talk of her losing it to Jimmy Olsen.

superman is shown with facial hair alot, he usually uses his het vision of a mirror to shave.

my htoughts are they gave TW a cookie cutter episode to show his chops, rather then entrust him with a big one right off that back. I think he did a good job considering the material he was given. god hero sots, moved teh pace along. there were some nice subtle ouches too....like when the cop got on board the elevator and he wiggled his glasses. Yu just knew what was coming. but then, he comment by the dad "nice glasses" was totally unneccessary.

all in all the episode was kind of like a kelly pickler performance on american idol. as your watching it you think "not too shabby." but you wont remember it tomorrow.

Oh, I think folks know that. It's just that... well... Clark is *supposed* to be 19. Now I know 19 year olds can have facial hair, but Welling has a pretty solid five o'clock shadow. LOL

Shouldnt Jimmy Olsen be like 7 years old now? Chloe's having sex with children?

Kay, I saw this post quoted several times and trudged back like 4 pages looking for it...

I still don't understand what the hell you're talking about...

Maybe I need a decoder ring.

(BTW: I would watch Tom wag anything he wants to wag, just be sure to reserve a front row seat for me....) :D

im kinda popular tonight......trip avid....how about a "good onya"

was itme or did KK have BLUE EYES this episode?

i have been drinking and may have been hallucinating

Someone (who hasn't been smoking crack preferably) please explain to me why there are comments accusing Chloe of being a lesbian? Since that's never EVER been even hinted at, I have to assume it's just someone being mean-spirited.

I actually felt sorry for Chloe in this ep. She's stuck in a really hard place, between her two closest friends. I think her intentions were good in going to see Lex, but she really should have talked to Lana first. Still.. I know that having to lie to Clark about it was extremely hard for her.

Lex was so deliciously evil in his scene with Chloe. Man.. But she hung in there.. gotta hand it to the girl.

I can see the Lex/Lana situation going either way at this point. Either she's sincerely becoming attracted to him - partly because he's schmoozing her so skillfully, and partly because she's on the rebound. That kiss she laid on him seemed like she really wanted another taste. The other option is that she is playing him and TPTB are keeping their scenes purposely ambiguous.

That little girl looked EXACTLY like a first year Hermione Granger. :D I thought she did a good job too.

Lois was a little manic again, character-wise in this story. She said something early in the show that really cracked me up.. I'll have to rewind to find it again.
Chief of Staff? Damn, who needs college anyway, I guess. ;)

Clark was all over this episode.. and it was nice to see. This wasn't an incredibly exciting episode *cough*, but it was very sweet. I think this was much more of a character piece, intended to show parallels b/w Clark's relationship with Jor-El, and Maddie with her father. I think it also emphasized Clark's continued maturity in his dealings with this young girl and her problems. He was just wonderful with her.

It did seem to tread on some old ground ("you don't have to be like your father.. yadda yadda..), and the one line of Clark's that I have to admit I rolled my eyes at, "Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad" was right off of a Hallmark card! LOL..

Oh, and that scene where Maddie's father was surrounded by the floating shards of glass.. Anyone else flashback to that scene in The Fog where the priest is surrounded by floating shards of glass? Maybe Tom really liked that scene. ;)

I thought the directing (from my amateur eyes) looked great! All the scenes just *looked* good. One shot I really liked was of Lex, after Chloe left, where he was shot from almost the ground up. It was a very effective angle for that scene. The closing scene outside the house when Maddie was driving away was beautifully done. Good onya, Tom! :D

A pretty, sweet episode... a little short on the thrills. I'm sure the fanboys will absolutely hate it. :p

chloe i thnk stood her own, but she was obviously hurt.

and the only reason this girl is being comapred to hermoine is because of her MASSIVE FOREHEAD.

this could be my last post of the evening, im on my way to the bar! dont anybody go saying anything important while im gone.

cheers.

LOL! It's funny 'cause, just when you forget about Muscles, he pops up out of the blue.

This was a really nice episode and I quite enjoyed it. Clark's approachability and trustworthy demeanor beamed like a lighthouse tonight. I couldn't help but smile as I watched him draw the girl out of her shell. There were some touching scenes between the two, and his ability to make her feel at ease was such a wonderful foreshadowing of his ability to radiate comfort and trust with all people when he's later known as Superman.

Anyhoo... I'm off to the land of Zod.
